“We've tried Lucky's in Oldham, so we wanted to try the one in Stockport. The place is very aesthetically pleasing. There are a few tables upstairs and more downstairs if the place is packed. The menu was extensive with a lot of variety. I got the Route 66 Burger and a Mango mojito. The food tasted nice and it was presented well. Would definitely go again to try the other things on the menu.”

“Amazing food, so much thought, work and care had gone into each course. The flavours were amazing and they clearly use only the best produce. Dietary requirements were catered for without any bother. One of the best meals I have ever had! Super friendly and knowledgeable staff! I honestly couldn't fault this restaurant , lovely ambience. “Enjoy some Indian and Persian food at Ivory IndoPersian Hidden away on the edge of Stockport, Ivory IndoPersian provides a mixture of Indian and Persian food. Each type of cuisine has its own chef, so make sure you order off the menu that you prefer - don’t expect your asian spices on the Persian dishes. It was really busy when we visited, and at full capacity it may feel a little cramped. Don’t let that deter you from trying it out though. The Indian dishes were; \Pani Puri [£3.50] - This was spicy and yummy, with mashed potatoes inside. The tamarind sauce was really tasty \Ivory Indian Special [For 2 £30.00] - Big, juicy, crunchy prawns just the way we like it and with a proper tandoori taste. The meaty lamb chops were done exactly how you want it \Achari [£12.90] - This was such a good recommendation from one of the owners. Sweet yet spicy and filled with a mixture of spices - such a good lamb curry The Persian dishes were; \Mix Mezze [£7.50] - Included the cucumber yoghurt, a mixed salad, hummus and yoghurt. The cucumber yoghurt was refreshing, the yoghurt tasted like plain, greek yoghurt - think it was meant to be garlic and shallots but this didn’t come through. The indian naan bread that came with it was nice, but a Persian flatter bread would have been better \Ivory Persian Special [For 2 £37.00] - Same as the indian special, the lamb chops were pure meat! The chicken was juicy, the flat kebab a little dry and the other kobedas cooked nicely \Zereshk Polow & Chicken [£12.90] - A sweet taste, quite like rose and saffron providing that unusuality. A simple, unique dish that was really nice The sweetness for the end consisted of the list below. We were so full by this point that they gave us little tasters so we could see what they were like; \Gulab Jamun [£5] - Pure yum but imagine with a bit of ice cream, this would have been heavenly. The cardamom wasn’t overpowering at all, which was nice L\emon Cheesecake [£5.60] - A tangy, refreshing hit \Baklava [£7] - Pure sweet, syrupy baklava We’ll be back to try some more of the Persian goodies Recommended for: Curries, Indian, Persian Service: High Price: ££ Halal: Full Menu”

“Lovely pub/restaurant. Very friendly staff and the food is fab. The crispy duck salad was especially tasty! We had lunch out in the garden - beautiful setting overlooking the river. So peaceful and picturesque.”

“A fantastic pub decorated beautifully. There's a lovely conservatory to have your meal too. I had the carvery. There was about 5 different meat choices and huge Yorkshire puddings. Pigs in blankets are available at an extra charge. There's a great selection of vegetables. Lovely roast potatoes, boiled potatoes, mushy peas, cauliflower cheese, broccoli, mixed vegetables. 3 types of gravy. Vegetarian, meaty gravy and gravy with peppercorns. The usual sauces are available, apple, cranberry, mint. Our server was Marc who was just delightful. Me and my friend will definitely be coming back.”

“Big store with lots of arts, crafts pretty much anything needed for birthdays, weddings we call in on a few occasions for things needed. We have been in a lot lately due to sorting my daughters 18th, staff are very friendly one lady that works there is always smiling and chatting (older lady) we found an easel online comparing prices which was the same price as instore I'd rather pick up than have things delayed in delivery from Amazon.”

“After not been for over a year (bad experience) thought would give it another try. What a difference so glad I gave it another go (seems new owners/management). “Both my girls Willow (age 3) and Piper (1) go to Little Giggles Great Moor and I wouldnt have them go anywhere else. Willow joined in the recommendation from my sister and I'm so happy. The staff are wonderful, willow joined from a year old and has learnt and developed so much. Piper has just recently joined and I was nervous about having to drop her off (during this pandemic) and not being able to see her react to being left alone. But with the help of the staff at Great Moor, I was instantly settled knowing that she was good and happy, Piper loves coming to nursery and her skills have progressed so much since going. I would recommend the friendly loving staff and nursery all day. I look forward to Willow & Piper returning in september. Thank you x”

“It's been a fantastic journey for the Cibus team, and their Levenshulme restaurant strides out ahead of the pack, offering a sophisticated dining experience. The first notable point is how much this doesn't feel like a Levenshulme location but more aligned with Manchester dining venues. The lighting is low and creates an intimate atmosphere, heightened by the proximity to other diners, which some may feel a bit too close but you've got to pack them in - on the 2 occasions I've visited both have been packed! The food is as perfect as you'd expect. The ingredients are carefully selected to offer a taste that doesn't hit you over the head, instead offering subtle flavours. Pair this with a carefully curated selection of wines and beers and you've got a great night guaranteed. If you have room I'd definitely recommend having the Pistachio ice cream to finish - the best I've tasted this side of the North Sea.”

“Cracking food and a tasty authentic masala chai served in a lovely hand painted tea pot from India. We were given a very warm welcome and were also treated to a free mango lassi that would otherwise have gone to waste. Oh, and the decor is fantastic too. Highly recommended!”
