“We stopped at Smoak for breakfast before our children’s final rugby game of the season. The coffee was fantastic, as was the service. The children had flavoured hot chocolates (Terrys chocolate orange and a vanilla), they described them as the best ever! The food was amazing, my wife and I had the famous pastrami bagels and they did not disappoint. Pastrami was full of flavour, the dressing was a fine accompaniment and the gherkin was just right. The kids had something simpler, but they all enjoyed what they had. Well worth a visit!”

“I really liked this spot, only popped in for a coffee and a snack but will definitely be back again. They had a choice of a few different vegan cannolis, I got a cappuccino flavoured one and it went perfect with my latte. The food menu looked great so will be back to try some of their vegan options. The atmosphere was very chilled and cozy and the staff were lovely :)”

The food is fantastic quality, the staff are lovely and they take pride in serving their community and giving back. They DO cater for veggies/vegans/allergy sufferers - but their sausages are EPIC! If your dog is well-behaved, they're welcome too.”

Also the collection of pots and cups seems be solely down to what they can see from a eye and is not consistently walked around and wiped down. As a former worker, some well needed customer service courses are needed ❤️”

“Amazon place just by the tram stop. The do some mean waffles and the coffee is super refreshing on my way to work every morning. Staff is friendly and very understanding specially in the rush hour. They’ve got two screens as soon as you walk in if you’d like to order and pay instead of waiting in the queue till you get to the counter. Got some outdoor tables and seating for the sunny and warmer weather as well.”

“Pleasant visit on Saturday afternoon, excellent customer service displayed by the guy who was cleaning the plates and washing up, he spotted my boy having a melt down and offered him a small toblerone to calm him down. Not only was this emotionally intelligent and empathetic this natural token of kindness demonstrated excellent customer experience. I will now visit Costa more when I have the chance over other coffee shops. This man is a credit to your organisation. “Visit every day for breakfast. Last week saw some flies on cakes which was reported by another customer. Sales staff reluctantly removed one item. But to be honest we were expecting all of them to be taken out. We would like being regular customer that each time the shelf is opened it should be closed. But usually they leave that open.”

They made her a lovely little hot chocolate with cream and they made it ready to drink temperature so she didn't burn her mouth. The place was clean and setup covid safe with good social distance measures and sanitiser etc. The only thing is the prices of coffee but that was already known but not bad for a treat.”

“A very cozy place indeed especially when there’s a little drizzle outside. The ambiance was so quiet and comfortable that you can get a lot of work done in peaceful environment. There are chairs, sofa seats and counters to choose from according to your taste. Outdoor seating is however best for a bit chilly weather. About coffee, I found it pretty bland to be honest. It just tasted like coffee dissolved in water with a pinch of milk. Still better than Starbucks but needed a cookie to get some taste. The staff is really friendly and helpful with ingredients and taste.”

“I go once or twice a week for a oat milk coffee and a vegan toasted sandwich the staff are very nice and helpful all the time the place is clean and well set out has more of a family run feel about it than the other costa coffee shops I've been to. Friendly staff.”
