“A very friendly, knowledgeable and accessible practice. My dog was treated so gently and kindly, I was worried he was going to be afraid but he loved the vet (Christian) and the tiny treats he was rewarded with. This bit is important (especially if you have a busy life!)! It’s a super easy booking in process, just register your preferred appointment time online (in my case out of hours the night before) which is then confirmed the following morning. It’s very near Tatton park and Knutsford town centre, and has a small car park which is very easy if you have a pushchair or wheelchair. 100% recommended!”

We took our fur baby Dillan at around 3am in an emergency who was in a lot of pain, the male vet that took care of him was so caring and empathetic, and sadly we had to say goodbye to him that night. “Woodcroft Vets in Handforth have been amazing since day one for our Romanian rescue. They offered us regular social visits (at no additional cost to the yearly payment) so he could get used to the environment and the staff on hand, and seeing him develop relationships has really helped him settle. The times we have had to call for assistance, the staff have been knowledgeable and helped us where required. A particular mention to Alex, who has been unbelievable in her support, care, advice and assistance throughout the first year of Carlo’s time with Woodcroft. If it wasn’t for her guidance, we would have had much more difficulty with finding the right fit for Carlo. Lastly, the pricing for the vets is very good, especially if you take out the yearly plan, which has a lot of essentials that individually would have been more costly. We can’t recommend them enough, and thanks as always for your help and support!”
