Rachel Carson Preserve

The preserve was dedicated to Rachel Carson in 1970, honoring her conservation efforts. Visitors can access the preserve by following Route 130 south from Damariscotta, turning left on Route 32 in New Harbor, and continuing for about one mile. Parking is available along the shoulder of the road, but visitors are encouraged to show courtesy to neighbors and return another time if the parking area is full.
