Fish River Falls Trailhead

"We hiked in to see the falls for the first time. It was an easy hike and beautiful! Wear your swim suit and you can get in the water a little further down from the falls. Will be back!!"

"Nice quick walk down to the "falls" on the Fish River. They are mostly just a rapid, even in peak rain season, but pleasant nonetheless. The trail crosses an "active runway" of grass for the one plane every three weeks that must land here, and the trail is in sore need of some water bars as one section has been completely reclaimed by water, with a large social trail on the side quickly eroding the nearby area, but it was pleasant nonetheless."

"Fun at Fish River Falls is just a short and easy hike from the parking lot at the trailhead. Plenty of rapids and pools to play in on a hot summer day. Water was low when we went, but still deep enough to drop your kayak in the water below the rapids. Great place to swim for older kids and adults alike."

"Our family loves this hike - so relaxing and beautiful. Have been going since the kids were toddlers - now that they're in college they live to introduce their friends to this special place."
