“I went here back in June but forgot to leave a review as I’ve been so hectic;haven’t even had time to come back due to so much going on. Shall definitely be booking again, though , hopefully this week. I had highlights and a trim with some layers & considering I used to travel to Jo Hansford in central London, I’d say Brush is probably better! I certainly preferred the way my highlights came out - they almost sparkled - and the cut was great too. The shampooist was lovely and friendly, and I loved the relaxing cold water rinse. I would have liked a longer head massage though, it didn’t seem to last as long as at JH or other salons I’ve been to. All in all my hair came out wonderful, all the girls were really friendly, and it had a nice relaxing atmosphere there. Shall be back with an update later this week, hopefully !”

“Excellent experience with this firm, Emma Kilpin dealt with my sale and purchase to hit the original deadline for Stamp duty . This was done with speed and ease via email for most documents. Approachable friendly lady and firm. Calls were returned in a timely manner if I needed to ask a question. Questions were answered precisely in plain english so I understood the sometimes complicated legal "jargon"! Would highly recommend for a sale/purchase and or both. Well done Cuff and Gough.”

“Really loved using A1 heating and plumbing for my issues. My radiator burst a leak and A1 came out within a minutes notice, stopped the leak and isolated the radiator, provided a quote for a new radiator and gave me a date of their earliest availability. They had also noticed that I required a new TRV on my other radiator whilst balancing the system and that was a nice quick easy change, will be painting it soon! The engineer was friendly, factual and abided by the covid-19 regulations. The pricing was very adequate as I looked around and found A1 to be the most reasonable given the timeframe of the leak! Will be using them in case anything else happens!”

“Ally from Poseidon Heating and Plumbing services has twice come to fix a sudden issue: one serious, a leak through the ceiling from an upstairs shower and one less serious, a toilet which wouldn't flush. Ally is punctual, fast, efficient and honest. I highly recommend Ally and this company.”

Dont forget to bring some food for the duckes and Swans. If you want to sip hot coffee take one cup and seat in abench and drink the green park..”

“I'm a pretty laid back person but when it came to planning my wedding, I knew that I would be precious about the flowers. Mad Lilies absolutely nailed them. From my very first enquiry, the team have been amazing! Responsive to emails, always at the end of the phone and fully open to ideas and making everything work. We had a plan and then we had to postpone the day which meant completely new flowers because of the season. Michael and I went to meet Alison to talk things through and we left the meeting on such a high. Alison totally got us, what we wanted and was so enthusiastic, she made us forget about all things Covid and made us excited about our wedding again. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone, even a courtesy call on the week of the wedding just to check we were happy with everything. The flowers on the day were stunning. Whimsical, naturally beautiful and I was just blown away with our suspended arch which made the room! The bouquets were even better than I could have imagined and Alison even imparted some crucial bouquet holding advice that I will definitely share with all future brides! Best of all, Mad Lilies is our local florist and I will be recommending them to everyone! Thank you so much to you all ”

Vanessa really listened to our budget and made sure we got the style and colours that we wanted within our price range without compromising on quality. She knew exactly where flowers would make the biggest impact at the venue and the quality of the flowers was commented on by many of our guests.”

“Have been two times before an afternoon walk in Banstead woods. Tried various omelettes and a bacon and egg sandwich, all were lovely. The omelette with sides is a big portion which I share with my 4 year old. It's my aim to return and try the delicious looking scones. There's only one toilet which can result in small waits but it was relatively clean. Environment busy but comfortable and pleasant on the eye.”

Although our circumstances have now changed and we don't need full time cover, our new pup is still enjoying Acres a day or two a week and loves it. All were really tasty and generous portions (loads for leftovers). I understand why they don't do delivery now via ubereats or deliveroo, they clearly get enough business just from everyone being willing to drive down to collect their supper!! Will be back.”

We've tried a variety of dishes (me chicken, partner seafood) and have really enjoyed the meals, whether in the restaurant or as takeaways. Friendly service and great food at very reasonable prices. Restaurant is un-licensed so is BYOB. Highly recommended.”
