They specialise in dim sum, got a small but all the essential ones you will find there. The waiter Jason is especially nice, very friendly and pays attention to the customers! “Went for a meal before the rugby yesterday. Some of the nicest food I’ve had in a restaurant. Starter of lamb koftas was delicious and the main course of steak and ale pie with mash and greens just as good. Unfortunately we had no room left for dessert! Will be back again.”

“This was my first visit with my son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter. They have just moved into the area and I was visiting. The lunch, I had the large fish & chips which in fact was very large and was very nice indeed. I was driving so had a soft drink. The service was very pleasant and efficient. It was not over busy on our visit but was very enjoyable. I understand this is going to be my sons local which I think he will be happy with. I look forward to visiting again. “Afternoon tea for 14 adults and 2 kids. Great sandwiches and cakes, especially the scones. Kept the tea coming when pots were empty. Decorated our Birthday cake for us and cut it up for people to take home. Great service. Must try a meal there.”

We were there for 2 nights in one of the Gatehouse lodges which are lovely. Just a very lovely place for a weekend away. I suspect we will be back.”

“Very nice hotel, not too far from Kew Gardens and Richmond town centre. Up on the hill with some great views this place. Key highlights for me, we wanted to park for two nights as we were staying for a wedding and they only charged for one and gave the second day as complimentary. Also my partner forgot her mascara and the lady at the front desk was very helpful in letting her borrow hers! Not a service they normally offer I’m sure, but great of her to provide this. Beyond this, the beds were comfy, very cleanly and it was not noisy at all.”
