"The lamb shank is so bad we sent it back twice ! The veal had so much salt added to the meal it was embarrassing that the chef didn't even taste the dishes before Sent out ! The owner did like eating the food that was prepared for the guests while walking around °° very strange ! The worst Italian food in Essex! Absolutely gutted evey dish is not great! Can't believe you can mess up every single course ! Then try to add a extra £10 for service when a take away valve meal from tesco is s o much better!!@ the food was so bad a take away meal from a food bank would feel like a luxury instead of dinner at this restaurant"
"Great location. Food such a let down. Pizza is a Tesco style value range pizza, with a few bits thrown on.base even had the mass produced roller holes in it. Nothing Italian about it. Service was confused. Menu poorly explained. Ordered desert, 40 mins later told was not available. Really sad, cheap freezer food, badly presented as restaurant quality. The locals know better than that sadly. Would not return!"
"Visted 17th Dec 2022. Newly refurbished and looking great, new decor, bar area and tasty new items added to some of the exsisting menu. Good service, always warm and welcoming atmosphere, and great food. Hope they will bring the live singers back soon."
