“I didn't eat at this restaurant however I broke down outside the restaurant and the lovely man working that night came out to check on me twice and asked if I wanted to sit inside while I waited for someone to tow my car. They let me use their facilities as well which I really appreciated. Seeing this kind of service really made my evening after my car breaking down and I would 100% eat here after seeing that service”

“Visited on Sunday with my boyfriend, have to say it was absolutely amazing, I had a flat white with oat milk, the vegan earth bowl with plant chicken added, and we shared the coconut and pumpkin cake. All the food and the coffee were perfect, couldn't fault it, the portion sizes were really good too. Lovely interior in the restaurant as well and nice music playing, if slightly loudly. The only minor issue was that the menu said adding the plant based chicken to the salad I had was £4 but the receipt said £5 (didn't notice until I'd already paid).”

“The pub is just in the high street. Staff was amazing, the place is cozy, a big TV streaming all the futball matches. The portions of the starters are very good!! Totally recommend this place.”

I got a little drunk with my friends and dropped a glass, which was embarrassing, but the guy was so tolerant of my drunkenness (thank you) I will say, although the pub is lovely, the toilets are stinky (pee), which is the only thing. “Absolutely adore Kokoro ever since I moved to Kingston a few years ago. They’ve recently opened up shop in Surbiton and I’m so glad they have as I live locally and simply cannot fault these guys. The food is fresh, absolutely delicious and the portion size is always generous. They are consistently great with both hot dishes & cold foods (sushi / salads) and 100% worth every penny. It’s a great lunch time spot with plenty of different options to choose from as well as being pretty affordable for a “meal out”. I recently ordered a sushi party platter* for my household for my birthday and it was out of this world! Will continue to eat at Kokoro Surbiton and would encourage anyone who passes by or lives in the area to try their food ASAP! * I specifically requested for salmon sashimi but their original platter includes both Salmon & Tuna!”

“Went once for their afternoon tea and another time for brunch. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious, and the staff are warm and friendly even with how busy it is. If you’re going for brunch I would recommend getting there before 11 to beat the rush as it does get very crowded in there on the weekends.”

“Came here for a party. Had a brilliant night. Pub seemed like the pubs I knew back in the early 80s, but in a really good way. Staff all very friendly and helpful, prices very fair. Food was supplied for the party, I’ll be honest I’m really not sure who did the catering, but it was all very good, a finger food buffet. There were two bars that I could see, not sure if there are other function rooms. Very near Berrylands station. Parking seemed easy.”

“Stayed here with my girlfriend a few weeks ago. Wasn’t expecting much more than a bed to sleep. The manager with a big beard, can’t remember his name (I think it begins with a K) was an absolute gent. Helped me with our bags, the parking and gave use great recommendations for places to have fun whilst we were in Kingston. Just because of his demeanour and attitude I would most definitely go back. Absolutely brilliant customer service from him!”
