“A good Boots store, can possibly find everything you would usually get from a boots store. Can a bit overcrowded but otherwise not too bad. Customer service at the tile is good and fast.”

“Amazing venue for private parties. Used to be a truckers cafe but now closed. Does occasional parties. It is out of the way so no noise issues. We had a great live band playing until midnight with a DO as well. They can cater or you can do it yourself. Really nice and friendly hosts and allowed us to have what we wanted. Thanks very much - awesome night.”

“Best pub about for Miles. Lines and Glass's are crystal Clean. It's a Locals Pub but one which is very Welcoming. Always has 4 Ales on and 2-3 Guest Ales. Staff are Polite and Pub is kept spotless. Land lady is Brilliant reason Pub is Very Popular.”

“Stayed here with work. Very clean accommodation. Very Friendly staff. Next to the lake and Lakeside shopping centre. Free on site car parking. Bargain priced food. 2 courses under £13. Happy hour on drinks in bar between 5 and 7. Brilliant value accommodation. Yes maybe a little short staffed but I was not in any rush. Its not marketed as a top class hotel so don't expect it. If you want that then book elsewhere. If you want basic, clean accommodation with friendly staff then book here. Will definitely stay again when in area. Brilliant value for money.”

Our inbound flight was postponed, as well as the roads where exceptionally active because of rail and tube strikes, but had not been a trouble as our driver was there waiting for us and the journey residence was as smooth as could be. “A great hotel for commuters and business travellers. Looking at the below reviews, i don’t feel they are a true reflection of what Fulwich is like. As a Graduate Building Surveyor who travels from Essex to Kent i stay in the Fulwich most weeks. My stay has always been pleasant. The rooms are spacious, fairly modern and with all amenities you would require. Rooms are regularly cleaned on daily basis and Lisa (landlady) is very welcoming and would always deal with any queries promptly. The location is great - only 15 mins walk to Dartford town centre and parking isn’t an issue as most streets are non- restrictive. The value for money is definitely a large factor here and for a hotel that is placed within excellent commuter infrastructure, the cleanliness, amenities and service - you couldn’t find anything remotely as good as Fulwich for the rates they charge. I love this historic property and have become a regular here (subject to their availability). In a summary, this place is a bargain and you would be stupid looking elsewhere for same value, because you won’t find it!”

“This Summer my wife and I had the pleasure of two short stays at the Black Horse Cottage B & B in Bean, Kent. The experience was very good indeed. The facilities are all very good, extremely clean and well kept by Kim. She also cooks the breakfasts, which are prepared to your liking. You can choose the full English or something less if you wish. It was very good value for the money and we hope to return. I would not hesitate to recommend this establishment to anybody.”
