"I guess ideal for party people but with the noise from the club and walls so thin we could hear the person next door snoor and sneeze nothing I would recommend for travellers to get a good nights sleep… for some reason the corridor and stairs are disgustingly dirty however the room was cleaner and somewhat ok. No staff available after 8pm so if a problem arises one has to wait until next morning to get it solved. Nothing I would recommend. Wasn’t even really cheap."

The Whisperer:

"What a wonderful place. Fantastic looking pub with a very stylish and comfortable atmosphere. The pub is part of a hotel and appears as if it is part of an older world arcade with a glass ceiling. Whilst I didn't eat anything, or even see any of the food on offer, I would imagine it to be decent at the very least,- and cheap! The Guinness is excellent and the Doom Bar as well."

"I stayed here last week when visiting my son. A great hotel in a great location with a lot of history dating back to 1700s I believe. The bedrooms are a bit tired and decor is dated but that doesn't detract from a comfortable bed . I had an issue with my sink plug which was fixed immediately. The breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly. Would I stay here again ?.....Yes."
