“Really rate these guys. They have done a couple of jobs for me now and have always been very knowledgeable and honest about what is required (or not). Both times I've brought the car in they have advised against at least one or two of the jobs I've asked them to explore, after inspecting the car. Plus they valet the car before handing it back - what a classy touch. I wouldn't take a range rover anywhere else in this area. Thanks guys!”

“I love love love this place, hands down my favourite Indian and it must be everyone else's too as it's always rammed in there so 100% book a table.if you want to give it a try. The service is brilliant, the staff are friendly, welcoming and effecient, and they remember you between visits which i really like. The food here is amazing and one way another I've ordered all their sides and a lot of their mains, I normally opt for lamb anything and its divine. I've never ordered wine here as they have a good variety of beer on tap and they're always super quick with drinks. We order popodoms to start and the sauces are well presented and generous and I love the hot lemon flannel at the end. Highly recommend this place!!”

“Our first time at the Jobbers Rest. I booked a 3 course meal + wine courtesy of a freebie virgin experience and from the moment me & OH arrived, we were made welcome. Ordered cheese soufflé with sauce & beetroot terrine to start, confit duck dauphinois potatoes French beans & carrots & trout with brown shrimp potato rösti, then sticky toffee pudding ice cream & pistachio soufflé & ice cream. Even the house red was very good. Cappuccino’s were good too. All courses were beautifully prepared & cooked, especially the pistachio soufflé. The service was as good as in a top class restaurant, attentive but friendly. A special shout out to Lee, our waiter, what an excellent job he’s doing, paying close attention to everything. We’re looking forward to returning very soon. Would really recommend.”

“Went for lunch for the 1st time. We ate off the lunch menu 2 courses £17 or 3 for £19. The meals were amazingly good for the price. I had the King Prawn Linguine which was the best I've had at any restaurant. Followed by Chocolate Brownie with ice cream. Great service completed a 5 star experience”

“Good prices, reasonably good choice, good value. The fresh fruit and vegetables here are mostly of better quality than the local Tesco Update 2020, unfortunately you now have to pay for parking, even after 7pm, because they don't own their car park, and the free half hour has gone. It's now cheaper to shop at Waitrose nearby for a few items ! Has it changed ? Yes, they now have self service checkouts. The parking is free after 8pm M-Sa and all day on Sunday.”

“Had a fab time at the Halloween quiz. Unfortunately our team mate Phoebe Phalanges didn't really help much and we came last. Always have good food and friendly service here. We quiz here regularly (Wednesday nights) and now we are regulars we are made to feel a part of The Huntsman family.”

“Been going there since about 1966. Current team are absolutely excellent. Dr B Patel is so skilful and so sensitive to the need to avoid pain as far as possible. Reception staff tremendously friendly and understanding. Obviously it can take a while for the phone to be answered at busy times, but that is how it is these days with everything - just be a patient patient. Update October 2020 - Very fast response - brilliant service - receptionist as wonderful as ever. When I emailed to say I had a loose crown (dangerous if it comes off and you breath it in), as the Duty Dentist of the day is off sick, Dr Sarwar telephoned me personally, got me in straight after lunch time, did a thorough examination including X-Ray, found I had an irreparable split root, and did the extraction himself straight away so I would not a have an uncomfortable week-end. Receptionist as brilliant as ever. Apologies to other patients awaiting assessment - blame it the difficult Covid times.”
