"This place is a really great all rounder. The selection is more than many restaurants have, good value for money and enjoyable food. They don't empty your wallet on the likes of steaks and deserts, plenty of choice for Sunday roasts. It's a relaxed atmosphere and although preferable to book, you can usually find a table. Car park can get a bit full. Only other slight criticism, more staff at bar when busy."

"We held my uncles wake here and the pub was very nice. There was plenty of parking and the staff were very kind and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We had a lovely finger buffet with hot and cold food, and more than enough of it to go around, along with plenty of tea and coffee. Thank you"

"Had a fab time at the Halloween quiz. Unfortunately our team mate Phoebe Phalanges didn't really help much and we came last. Always have good food and friendly service here. We quiz here regularly (Wednesday nights) and now we are regulars we are made to feel a part of The Huntsman family."
