Tip Top Tasty
● Closed140 High Street, Hounslow TW3 1LR, United Kingdom“The best biryani I’ve ever had. Tip stop Tasty is a few doors further down than its location on Google Maps - inside the street food market. Love this place, felt like being in India. So many flavours in the biryani & dal, and the doza was light and tasty. Prices very low. Can’t wait to come back soon.”

● Closed“Stopped in for dinner without a reservation since I was on my own. It was busy and larger groups had to wait so it was great I was able to be seated quickly. It would probably be good to make a reservation. Food was fantastic and the service was quick & friendly. I'd definitely stop in again if I'm in the area.”

● Open“The owner was so friendly I just had to try the food and was so glad I did. The venue is clean and comfortable and modern while at the same time retaining charm. The food had a great balance of flavour and spice without being overpowering or dominated by heat. Everything I had was delicious, I'll definitely be back for the biriyani”

Curry Cartel
● Closed“Had this yesterday night. My new favourite curry in the area by a long shot, best was Anglo Spice before... Went for the Chicken Korma, massive pieces of chicken, great portion size, tasty sauce. Mint sauce colour was a vibe. If I had to be really picky, I'd say Onion Bahjii was slightly too salty, and the cardamom in the Pilau could be toned down slightly, as was a little overpowering. Having said this, would 100 percent order again. Good job Curry Cartel!”

Imm Thai Cafe’
● Closed“Came here on a whim as I was on my way to see a show at the Playground theatre up the road and coming straight from work I hadn’t eaten. I ended up having a 3 course meal here as the food was so delicious! I had the Tom yum soup (I could have eaten a bucket of it!) the chicken wings were perfectly crispy and the green Thai curry was one of the best I’ve had in london. The cafe it’s self is lovely and has comfortable, laid back feel. The staff were lovely. It was a really unexpected treat to come across this place and I’ll definitely be back, this time with the whole family!”

Thai Pad
● Closed“Visited about a month ago when only outdoor dining was available, on a lovely spring evening. Ordered a mixture of starters and mains, finished off with yummy banana fritters. Food was lovely, good portions and filling. Waiting staff were friendly and helpful, giving good recommendations, and came to check our meal was in good order at appropriate times. Looking forward to going back again to try other dishes, not a local to the area, but worth the trip.”

L’Italiana

Mio Restaurant & Bar
● Closed58 Great Peter Street, London SW1P 2HD, United Kingdom“The food at this price point is top shelf. 13” personal pizzas with excellent thin crusts and toppings. Calzones as big as your head. Fluffy gnocchi in red or pesto sauces. Good table wine. Excellent service. The music could be a little quieter and less techno, but we enjoyed it enough that we went there twice on our trip.”

Blacklock Shoreditch
● Closed“As an American, I was not familiar with Sunday Roast. After having roast here on 15 January, I won’t ever forget it! It’s so delicious I booked again for the following Sunday! The meat, the veggies, potatoes, and especially the Yorkshire pudding with lots of gravy were terrific. Best to book through Open Table ahead of time to get your spot. Word to the wise, if you’re looking for a quiet spot to eat, this is not it. It’s very crowded and lively. Don’t let that stop you. It’s that good!”

-
Bouchon Racine
● Closed“One of if not the best meals I’ve had in the area. Stunning menu, very reasonable wine list, top notch service and atmosphere. Crème caramel dessert is as good a finish to a meal as you’ll find anywhere. The menu is perfect - offering something for the adventurous as well as a wide range of other options. We were lucky enough to get a walk in table, which is rare. However I highly recommend booking and accepting the long lead times for a table, because it’s more than worth it.”
