To Kefi (Greek Restaurant & Cafe)
● Closed“A wonderful, authentic taste of Greece in our back yard. Home cooked food and you can almost taste the love in every bite. And yes, the moussaka was delicious. All of the starters were so tasty that I had barely had room for the main. The service was so personal and attentive. I will definitely be going back, and I have told anyone who will listen about the spinach pastry and cheese dip... I find myself having little daydream moments about it. Wonderful !”

The English Grill
● Closed“Great atmosphere, high quality service and food. There was a lady singing as well. We had tartare (prepared infront of us) that was fantastic. Also the burrata with avocado on toast with smoked tomatoes, was good too. We pre-booked the beef Wellington. Perfect medium rare, large portion. Adding the starter was really a lot of food. Robert the waiter was really prepared and recommended the perfect wine for our dinner. I think this place doesn't have 1 Michelin star just because the dishes are very traditional but the entire experience is exactly like being in a starred restaurant.”

My personal favorite dishes were the prawn toast (super creative dish) , the steak, prawn rice with a hot and sour soup (wow!!) and the fish bowl. IBERIA Georgian Restaurant
● Closed“Outstanding service, friendly, helpful and welcoming in just the right way. Happy to explain the Georgian dishes if you want, but delighted if you already know your stuff. Wine very reasonably priced - and of course those delightfully distinct Georgian grape varieties- fruity and plummy and raisiny and delicious. The food was exactly what you hope for from Georgian dishes - subtle, flavourful, tangy, sweet, warm, rich, fragrant and funky. And always a hint of something you can’t quite put your finger on - but you want more of it! Outstanding choices for vegetarians, of course - aubergine, sheep’s cheese, cheesy breads in all varieties. The qatmis kuchmachi - unfortunately described as chicken giblets - but mainly comprising chicken liver - is amazing. There is also a downstairs section offering a more homely vibe to the upstairs dining room. I hear from the (delightful) owner that candles and pictures are on the way to homely up the place. These will only add to the atmosphere. We will be back. Edit: I did come back! And it was just as good the second time :-)”

Bon Appetit lebanese
● Closed“I used to walk past this unassuming restaurant everyday in the past with the intention of trying it out, but never got round to it. So other day decided to have dinner with my wife at whim. The restaurant is an authentic Palestinian and lebanese cuisine using traditional family recipes. We ordered vine leaves for starters, mix grill with rice and grill charcoal piecea with chips. The food is all cooked freshed, so it took a while maybe around 20 minutes. But it was well worth it... The vine leaves were fresh, hot and the filling was gorgeous and the sauce it was sprinkled with was delicious. The mix grille with rice was just to die for. The lamb kebabs were full of flavour and the charcoal chicken was superb, they were all juicy with flavours, not greasy and healthy..the rice was top quality and the salad was delicious with the dressing and very fresh. The chips were excellent done and the chilli like.meze lebanese sauce was delicious. I did not even have to use sauce much because the dishes were so rich in flavour and juicy. I was very surprised by the food and how good it was and the prices are reasonable, the shop is small but cosy and is clean. honestly one of the best places Inhave eaten and will be.coming back for more! Something i dont often say for most restaurants! The service is excellent, it is family run and the lady was extremely,.nice, friendly and helpful.”

Special shout out to Silvio and his Sicillan friend he worked alongside tonight. (Sorry don't know to spell, but he was tall and handsome) To top it off. I had a bad day and they listened and turned it around with kindness. They are busy and work their hardest Recommend 100%”
