“I used to be a regular drinker at the Pied Bull before moving away. I returned this weekend and was very pleased to see that the place is still as welcoming and friendly as ever, with fab staff, delicious food and plenty of drinks options. It's dog friendly so my two cockapoos enjoyed the visit too, with lots of fuss from the welcoming staff and even a treat or two! I will definitely be visiting again when I'm next in the area!”

“We went for Christmas Day Dinner. This was the first time we had eaten here, and we will certainly be back. The atmosphere in the restaurant was warm and welcoming, Tue service was excellent, the two waitresses who looked after us were calm, cheerful, friendly and attentive. The food portions were generous and the quality of each course was excellent, it was obvious a lot of care was taken in the preparation of our meals. Only strange thing is the two reviews that say they spent the evening there and everything was amazing is a strange one......its takeaway only. Reviews seem odd. However mine is completely honest and coming from someone with an indian father and brought up on currys i can say the food here is brilliant”

“Ive driven past this little gem for years but recently went in for the first time for a 'baby shower' party. The pub is a fair size and has a wonderfully proportioned function area (which I hear from my friend was free to hire!?). The staff were amazingly welcoming and made me feel as though I was a local punter. Prices were average for the area and all in all, I had a wonderful time. Only thing to watch out for is the carpark at the rear of the pub was overwhelmed, maybe due to the special function that day. I found it easier to park on the road around the corner.”
