"Nestling between the road and river, Dumsey Meadows is a SSSI and grazing land. I walk there with an on lead reactive dog as it is fairly quiet, interesting sniffs with good visibility to keep a safe distance from others. There are 2 small car parks with 1st hour free, rubbish bin and poo bin. But 3 stars only because 1. Sadly despite clear signage to keep dogs on leads, owners and dog walkers with multiple dogs let them run off lead. 2. Also there is a disappointing amount of poo not picked up which considering it's grazing for cattle is really unacceptable as both dogs and cattle can get nasty parasitic illnesses such as neosporosis."

"One of my favourite places to take my dog, he loves the water. Just be mindful it attracts large groups in the hot weather who do not always tidy up when leaving, sadly bbq's, food waste, tents abs even human waste does not make for an enjoyable walk or time there, and not great for pets and wildlife alike."

"Beautiful spot with scenic view of river. Cozy pubs nearby (Kingfisher and The Bridge) for those keen for a drink or some food."

"Perfect for a swim in the river or walk along the bank. Plenty of easy entry points along the bank and also on the other side of the Thames opposite the meadow. Very popular so getting there early is recommended for sunny days. No amenities other than 2 very limited space car parks. Would be a 5 star if it had more parking."
