“We were looking for steak and stumbled upon this place. Within a minute of walking in the first gentleman cleared up a table amd a second was ready to get us seated as well. They took the time to explain to us first timers how the hot stone experience worked and it was nothing short of fabulous. “Third time coming here and this time has been the best visit yet! Great service by an attentive and hard-working young Asian man who made sure our food came out on time and our needs were met. We ordered the sirloin steak with mushroom sauce, which never disappoints. The chips were amazing as per usual. The side of mac and cheese was nice and hearty enough to keep us full. We also ordered our favourite- the Mess burger- which just hit the spot as usual and melted in your mouth! Great experience, lovely atmosphere and all in all happy :)”

Having read the incredible reviews, we decided to dine at London Stock. We ordered the tasting menu and the food was honestly the best food we’ve ever tasted. We dined at a Michelin 3-star restaurant (Uliassi) just the month before coming here, and have to say the food in London Stock is far more superior. “Sadly, I don't think there's enough time in the world to try all the beers these guys stock. They even have smokey beer from Bamberg... Little did I know that this place has stocked it for ages! What a treat! Whilst their prices are quite high for some of the usual ales you can find in Sainsbury's, they make up for it in the rarity of some of the brews. Great little gem hidden away in an unlikely place!”

It should also be said the Anglophone Caribbean dishes on the menu are also very delicious. I have been here 4 times in the last two weeks and the wait staff has always been kind and responsive. “The menu leaves you spoilt for choice everything sounds devine. I have never had lamb doner in a burger and must say it is just amazingly delicious... I have also been wanting to eat cheesy fries for a very long time but can not find any place that does it the way I would like it to be until I came to Burg:r. The cheesy fries is just so mouthwateringly good! Thank you to the chef as the quailty of the food is just brilliant and delicious. Will definitly go back again and try something new on the menu.”
