"Gave this restaurant a try on Wednesday evening without reservation as it was along our route and at the time of the review rated with 4,6 on average out of 1033 reviews. We gave the Halloumi Burger ( priced at 16,50 GBP ) and the 350g rib-eye steak ( priced at 32,90 GBP ) a try. Our dishes have been very delicious and the steak exactly at the requested cooking stage ( medium-rare ). Staff was very friendly. On-site parking is non existent but there might be parking on the main road available ( free of charge for 1 hour )."

"Had such a lovely lunch yesterday at prime in St Albans. After telling the waiter it was my birthday he brought over a delicious glass of Prosecco on the house, and also brought over a bowl of ice cream with a candle at the end of our meal; which I was so grateful for! Me and my friend had two courses off of the lunch menu, and my goodness were both dishes delicious. To start I had the short rib Benedict (which was a huge portion considering it’s a lunch menu and normally they can be a bit stingy) and then had the burger which was also delicious. Thanks prime for making my birthday lunch so enjoyable!"

"We are vegetarian so were pleasantly surprised that the veg dishes at a steak house were so good! We have had the tortellini twice this week and tried the crème brûlée & pavlova. We recommend all three. The service is excellent; friendly, professional and swift. We will be back and will bring guests! Thank you to the staff for a lovely experience."
