“I don't know how to describe how delicious the main courses were here! Four of us chose different things and loved them all. This one is a pork dish with a plum sauce. Excellent service and love the decor too. Oh yes, and the best thing was the bread with egg and cheese in the middle!”

There are many coffee establishments to choose from in Sutton, but I much rather support an independent who actually care about coffee and service. “Hidden gem! Fantastic roast dinners on Sundays and bring your own wine for a modest corkage charge. The owners couldn't have been nicer and the food is incredible. We've already made arrangements to go again with a group of friends. You may have to navigate yourself around several buggies and prams when you're there and seating is limited but it's worth it. This place is a must try and incredible value for money, I can't recommend it highly enough.”

“Have been two times before an afternoon walk in Banstead woods. Tried various omelettes and a bacon and egg sandwich, all were lovely. The omelette with sides is a big portion which I share with my 4 year old. It's my aim to return and try the delicious looking scones. There's only one toilet which can result in small waits but it was relatively clean. Environment busy but comfortable and pleasant on the eye.”

“I could not believe how beautiful the tortellini pasta looked. Bellissima. Had to get the standard pasta for home cooking as too hot outside to get it home. Was amazing. I hope to go back soon for some more”

“Great little place. Have been quite a few times and always great. Breakfast is delicious - not quite 100% on the eggs but that is personal preference. We went with our son recently and they were very accommodating with a high chair. I would recommend caution taking a pram because the place is small and if it is busy - as it often is - it can be awkward managing that BUT it is busy because of how nice it is.”

“I have been coming here since 1981 when I was 10 years old. My father took us and his clients here when Valecci opened and me, the same, 25 years later. It was my eldest son’s 21st last night and this is where he wanted to come. 3 generations later and still the same classy experience; The food is exceptional, Enzo and his staff are the best in the business and nothing is too much trouble. If cost is your priority, this is not your kind of restaurant. If first class food served by exceptionally attentive yet subtle waiters in intimate and personal surroundings is what’s required, come here as you’ll never be disappointed.”

“I rarely post reviews about any restaurant but this restaurant definitely needs some appreciation. I can say that it’s the best one we have seen in recent times. Authentic and delicious food. Staff were well mannered and service is quick & good. Taste of Dosa is just like you get in India. Highly recommend if you are around this area. We will visit again soon. “Amazing dishes and service and place! We got the rice covered with leave for the starter and it was so good! Also the lamb with pita bread was amazing. We asked to cut the chicken wrap in two and they were so kind to cut it nicely! The service in general was amazing and so kind. Also the place was very pretty with the gold frame without the paintings :) And I really really enjoy baklava! They said they prepare it for 4 days. The quality was so much higher from other baklava on the street. I would like to come back for sure if I want to have Greek food!”

“Went over the weekend for brunch. 1st time here even though I don't live too far from it. I very rarely give 5 star reviews, but this place just ticks all the boxes. Food is tasty and well presented, good choice of hot and cold drinks, and the flat white was probably the best I've ever had, so smooth and creamy. The owner came around to our table asking if everything was Ok, and she was quite friendly. A very good find despite the building it's in being covered with scaffolding”

“High Quality Sausage. (Cumberland). I think always the sign of a cafe that is interested in the standard of the breakfast they serve. Mushrooms were fresh ones not tinned. This chef respects food.
