"After a long and fruitless attempt to eat after 10pm in Blackheath, we chanced upon Taksim. I spoke to them on the phone, explained our problem and they welcomed us with warmth. Taksim does not close at 10, they confirmed proudly. We went there and ate a delicious lake shish, with some first-rate home made Turkish bread. "Lovely little Turkish Restaurant and the food was really excellent. We all thoroughly enjoyed the skewered kebabs and grilled meats, which included chicken, beef and lamb. And the starters together with the bread were excellent as well. Would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!!"
