“Great food, good portions, fast and polite service and a good price. Mangal has nailed the key attributes a good restaurant should have (and that many much more expensive ones fail to). Even when there was a mistake on my order the waiter was very apologetic and gave me an extra portion even though I told him it was ok. The Turkish tea at the end was a great touch! “A very decent canal side greene king pub. Small but tasty separation of vegan food and good drinks on tap, well priced and the staff are fantastic! Highly recommended and as it’s right on the canal you can go for a lovely walk afterwards to let your food go down.”

“Going by some of the reviews on this place I would have avoided it. However, my co driver ordered and we both had salt and pepper ribs. They were first class. The special fried rice was nice as well along with the curry sauce. I couldn't fault the place.”

“The staff were very helpful, and just really polite, patient, and professional, and made our stay relatively relaxed stress free *(we had a 6 month old with us upon writing this). Even though this place was busy with families enjoying Legoland, it's quiet enough to get a good night's sleep. They get busy at the weekends and half terms by looks of it, and the very helpful staff members were keeping us regularly up to date with when our food is coming.
