"very disappointing. The mac and cheese, a staple at any Carribean joint, was the worst I have ever tasted. The patties had more air than filling and the outer crust was rock hard. The BBQ chicken wings were inedible. Jackfruit curry and Steak strips were ok in flavour and had a good portion size, hence the two **. Overall verdict - will not be returning, spent over £30 and threw away half the food due to taste (and i hate wasting food). Tropics, you need to step it up massively. They're lucky Hayes doesn't have any competing Carribean restaurants because I doubt these guys would remain in business."

"I ordered the jerk chicken Rasta pasta, it was amazing so flavoursome and creamy. I placed an order on Uber eats , it took roughly half an hour to come which was surprising because a lot of the reviews were saying that their orders were taking long to arrive , i was glad that this wasn’t the case for me . They were very thoughtful and generous enough to even give me a free festival with my food. I would definitely order from here again they have my full 5 star approval and new customer loyalty to them . Thank you Tropics for your great service ."

"Honestly anyone who is trying this food ( Caribbean) for the first time do not let this be your first time tasting it as you will think Caribbean food is disgusting! You guys should be ashamed of yourself as block people sending this food out! There’s absolutely nothing authentic, tasty or nice about it. £38 of nastiness"

"When I tell you the food was good… It’s an understatement. It was great… It took me back to sitting at my Aunt Janet’s kitchen table eating her homemade perfectly cooked oxtail and my daughter had callaloo which was superb. I would fly from Italy and the states to London just to eat here. You will not be disappointed!!"
