"Function room for Bearcat Comedy is superb. Need to replicate this in the main bar which has lost its way. A simple fix by substituting the cold white for warm light bulbs would make a huge difference. Food not bad & staff OK."
"A lovely old type pub, great selection of ales and beers.a great food menu and we had a starter between us which was amazing and it was so filling we had no room for a main course but as it is a Fuller's pub it is expensive for beers as mine was 5.70"
"Came here for an early Christmas lunch with the family (11 of us) We booked our 3 courses in advance. The staff were attentive and friendly throughout the whole afternoon. The food was lovely! We all had a great afternoon. Cocktails were nice. The manager came to check on the table a few times too, to make sure we had everything we needed, which was really appreciated."
"Excellent food. I only stopped by for a quick lunch, but I will definitely be back. I had the special pie, with chicken, mushrooms and leek. It was served with mashed potatoes and vegetables, with a side of gravy. Everything was perfect. Tasty and hot and cooked to perfection."
