"Ayam Zaman is a cool little restaurant not far from Westfield shopping centre in Shepherds Bush. While it pitches itself as a Damascene restaurant it is maybe a bit more Moroccan than Syrian. Nevertheless the food is very good as is the service. The decor and ambience is very tasteful and I think it is a great place to go with a bunch of friends / family. I tried the kibbeh for starters which while they looked more like Shami Kebabs were very tasty. I particularly liked the pomegranates in them that really balanced the taste. For the main I had grilled aubergine and lamb kofte skewers with salad and pitta which was again very good. I finished with a very decent Arabic coffee and the obligatory backlava. All in all I enjoyed my visit and found good quality food and great service at a reasonable price point. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who is visiting the area."

"This restaurant was an amazing choice! Loved the very authentic decor and vibe, the staff were all so friendly and welcoming! Food was good but I especially loved the Kebbeh and how well spiced and cooked the lamb neck served with Frikkeh. Will definitely go back to it"
