“We went for Christmas Day Dinner. This was the first time we had eaten here, and we will certainly be back. The atmosphere in the restaurant was warm and welcoming, Tue service was excellent, the two waitresses who looked after us were calm, cheerful, friendly and attentive. The food portions were generous and the quality of each course was excellent, it was obvious a lot of care was taken in the preparation of our meals. “We are still in lock down, so I didn't go in, so it's difficult to give a good review. But we ordered at the window (2 bacon baps with brown source and 2 teas), waited outside for 5 minutes (my wife was complaining about something or other) and other the baps were ready, we eat them outside. It was all very covid safe and the baps were lovely (to be honest, its difficult not to do a good bacon bap....). It will be interesting to go back when it fully reopens.”

“Had a lovely meal, the food and drinks arrived quickly after ordering. Most of the staff couldn't do enough to help you and make you feel welcome, especially Melissa, she is a real asset to the team. Melissa met us at the door and was so bubbly and inviting that I've had to mention her. So great there are healthier alternatives to the menu like the corn on the cob, and the new tenderstem broccoli as sides. Really great meal, and will be returning again soon.
