"One of those pubs you go past every day but never venture into.. Monday night so the fact that it was open says a lot. There were about 10 customers in the bar all locals, all friendly and civil and welcoming. The woman behind the bar was also friendly and served us a decent pint of fullers pride. We sat in the beer garden which was quiet and secluded. It gets a thumbs up from me."

"Very friendly pub. Depending on what time of day you go there depends how busy it can get in there. If the football is on then it is busy, of course depending on who is playing. No football on then it's very quiet. Staff friendly and welcoming. Price of drinks about the average price. Also has a good beer garden out the back. Well worth a visit on a sunny day."

"A lovely friendly old school pub with decent prices. In fact, I may bring some people down here on Saturday afternoons when I do some walking tours of the area in late Jan/Feb. I can't remember whether the pub is dog-friendly?"

"Not the greatest atmosphere, but they had only recently reopened after lockdown. The IPA was perfectly served and one of the finest tasting pints that I have had in a long time. Staff are friendly. Overall a good experience."
