I didn't catch the name of the lady doing my friend's nails, but thank you for the pleasant conversation and for accommodating our requests! They all were very skilled and sculpted the nails quickly. I will definitely return if I ever need to pamper myself.”

I loved the fact that was only me and Debbie. No clients around that put you in a rash. Such a lovely, welcoming and relaxing place. I would highly recommend it. :)”

“I never leave reviews but I had to this time! Have been wanting to visit BK for so long and it’s quite a journey from south London but I’m glad I finally did! First of all what an amazing salon with great staff! From the Somali man (who noticed I was waiting and acknowledged me to ask if I had been seen to), to the lovely receptionist and assistants, and of course the amazing Ugur! Everyone was so polite and customer service was on point! From the consultation to the end, Ugur was great. Even with a language barrier he listened and understood exactly what I wanted and made sure I was happy with everything! I’ve been to many hair salons in and around London but this experience and the result of my hair, hands down the best. Ugur is amazing at his job! He is a perfectionist and I’m so glad I’ve found my hairdresser! Already had countless compliments on my hair. Feeling like a brand new woman! Thank you UG!! Just a thought, does BK offer loyalty cards for returning customers? Also some biscuits or cake with the tea offered would be nice as I was so hungry after 6hours! Or maybe next time I will bring snacks :) Don’t mean this in a negative way at all, just constructive critism that you may want to consider or not. Either way I’ll be returning for sure! “i have been coming here for around 5 years and the service has always been wonderful! the quality of my hair has improved over the years coming to this salon thanks to the keratin treatments especially. my hair grows faster and thicker, and is more manageable. the hospitality is brilliant and it’s always a joy coming in! flora is so very friendly and i am very thankful for flora and the team xxxx”

“Five star service for my pedicures with Bailey. She does my (difficult) pedicures and makes a very good job considering I have an immune disorder and peeling nails, and damaged toes. She makes my feet look not only normal, but very pretty and people compliment me on my gels. She has done many treatments but I always feel she takes as much care with a regular client as she would new business (which doesn't happen at other salons). I think it is because this is a family owned and run business (owner and daughters). I once overslept as my alarm didn't go off and missed my appt, I felt so bad, but not once did I get any grumpiness, they just said it was OK and rebooked me as if it was no problem. They're intelligent people as well and really understand the business so you feel completely safe with treatments even if you have allergies or other medical problems. You can't say that about many beauticians; elsewhere, I'd discuss certain skin or immune problems and get a vacant stare like I'm talking beyond any comprehension which put me off. I'm looking forward to trying out the hairdressing here too after being let down by another local Hairdressers. I've seen the results of some really interesting hair colours, in new pastels shades and some great crops on women from the resident hairdresser at the Laurels on all ages. One was a blue-Violet grey tonal dye on long hair. The most I get elsewhere has been standard blonde highlights but I've always wanted Emo, punk or rock chick hair but at my age (mid 50s) I usually end up with the same straight looking shoulder length "older person's" haircut like the World has given up on me, and I've lost the ability to be visible. I don't think the Laurels have that attitude, the owner looks so amazing, I won't tell you her age as that's rude but you wouldn't believe it, it's a good ad for their business. If anyone is going to understand my wanting to still have fun with my hair in my middle aged years they will. I'll leave another review when I've had it done at The Laurels.”

“A Brilliant no nonsense service. If you want a proper haircut without the small talk and product pushing, this is the place to go. My hair was fixed after I paid £45 for half a haircut. The lady at Prestige brought my hair back from its dire state within minutes. Excellent value for money, friendly staff and professional! Definitely coming back.”

Denise trained me and she is an absolutely lovely, kind and passionate woman she takes pride in her work to make sure everything was done to a great standard which I appreciate so much very rarely do you come across a fantastic boss lady like Denise! Literally taught me every technique, gave me all the vendors, was very practical when teaching and she gave me a whole booklet guide when I got my qualification. I’m finally starting my journey to be a eyelash technician all thanks to this stunning woman!
