"I came here to get my nails done and a few weeks ago I also got my hair cut. The end results were generally ok but it was the process which wasn't necessarily great and for neither I got what I wanted. Everyone was generally lovely. Haircut with rough dry: didn't ask me what I wanted whilst my hair was dry, didn't really look at it and went straight to washing. And when washing the water was so hot (which I told her and then changed it a little bit) and she was saying that all my (crazy) hair colour was all coming out so I ended up with faded hair after my appointment. This is no surprise - I would expect a hairdresser to know to wash coloured hair with cool or lukewarm water and appropriate shampoo so that was disappointing. My hair was conditioned but it was applied then washed out straight away. I have wavy/curly hair that I never straighten so I said I wanted long layers so it's not too heavy at the bottom, but she just cut it one length and said this would be better. The end result is fine, it could be worse. The rough dry was fine, but she just made it straight (without me saying anything) and used a paddle brush rather than a round one. Nails: the picture with the lights in the background is what I got and the other one is what I wanted. It's still nice, but they're different. I'd much rather they said they couldn't do it before starting so I could choose something else. I was a little horrified at my nail surface being buffed with a rough emery board and it didn't really feel like a 'deluxe manicure' as it was all very quick and I didn't feel pampered"

"Absolutely fuming with this place. Been a regular for years. Popped in to ask if someone could wash my hair. Just wash. Nothing else. 5 min job. Woman in there this morning said no she couldn’t do it as she had her friend who’d brought her coffee in to tend to her. It would have taken five mins. I can’t get water in my eyes as I just had operation on them. I’ve had it washed only for two weeks now in there. Yet this woman refused a five min job. I won’t go back for my nails or brows anymore. So they lost a good paying customer because she preferred to drink coffee with her friend."
