“I love smiley, chatty, warm welcomes. When I entered Perfetto Pizza that is just what I received. Don’t let the name pull your attention towards the fast food staple. Perfetto Pizza crafts beautiful examples of all Italian cuisine. All is served in a humble, bohemian beach house that is bright and modernly decorated. Service is fast, attentive and helpful. The food is presented artfully and tastes superb. I loved the relaxed environment; great value, no none sense quality Italian food.”

“Absolutely fantastic! Hosted my friends baby shower here and I can’t recommend them enough! So accommodating with budget, decorations, etc unlike other venues! Food was delicious, everyone was catered for and commented on how yummy it was. Cocktails were fab too! Honestly, if you have a party to host or you just want somewhere to go for a coffee…(or something stronger) this is the place to go! Most importantly every staff member was lovely, friendly and helpful! 10 out of 10!”

“An ideal meeting place for a catch up with a friend. We had a table for two in front of a long fire. Very welcome on a freezing day. The food was very good and not expensive given the quality. But the beer was the highlight. Harvey's Bitter from barrels on the counter behind the bar. Properly kept and served. Wish it was my local.”

“This is definitely one of the nicest place I have been to. I have only been there for a meal twice, and can honestly say that I gave never been disappointed with the meals I had. The first time I went there I gad the roast lamb with vegetables, unfortunately when I got there yesterday the only option available was the roast beef, as the Lamb abd Chicken had all gone & boy oh boy! was I glad. The beef was cooked to absolute perfection by Ben (The Owner) I would suggest phoning at 12.00pm (when they open) or a day or two in advance if possible, to book a table , and get there early.. Ben and his staff are extremely pleasant, & can't do enough to make sure you enjoy your experience of eating at his Pub/Restaurant. I would definitely go again. “Food was very good. Spicing right for the symbols on the menu. Portions were generous and mix of ingredients was up at the premium end - plenty of meat and prawns in the Singapore noodles for instance. Logistics were easy - call in with order, time to collect and it was ready then and well packed. All in all an excellent meal.”

“Fantastic staff. Can’t rate the service highly enough. We had an incident (daughter choked) and they were so kind and supportive to make sure we were all okay. They went above and beyond with our breakfast requests (I have some picky eaters!) and the food was delicious. Will definitely be back. So nice to have breakfast for lunch too.”

“Have not been to the rose and crown in over 2 years because of covid. We visited sunday. Was so nice to see Karen and john. Such a friendly village atmosphere. Lovely warm log fire. Me and my husband had roast lamb. The lamb melted in your mouth one of the best roast dinners we have had in a long time. We was very lucky to be fitted in as it was very busy so I would advise to book. Looking forward to our next visit.”

“Delicious food. Decent portion sizes and quality is always consistent. We are pescatarian and there are some lovely choices. The Szechuan style King prawns are really nice. Really recommend this takeaway, it’s worth the drive to pick up.”

“Brilliant service, the lady on the desk always greets me with a smile and calls me by name. I do not live in the area anymore but this is still my favorite Chinese takeaway to go to. Portions are good, the food tastes great and it is usually ready for you pretty quickly. They have a new mix and match menu for something like £10.90. The choices of food on there is really good as it is the most popular foods. It is great value, now I am tempted to go there tonight.”
