The Royal Rose
● Open390 Ongar Road, Pilgrims Hatch, Brentwood CM15 9JH, United Kingdom“Had a fantastic brunch here Highly Recommended!! The staff were welcoming and happy to help despite a very busy and chaotic service, they made you feel nothing was too much trouble. Although ridiculously busy all the staff were more than happy to accommodate our endless drink requests. The food was to a high standard, I would be happy bring my boss, my mum, or my friends here. I sound like I'm gushing but I really enjoyed my brunch here. Prices were in line with what I would expect. I'd like to thank Melissa, Freya and Tara in particular. Check my photos for the menu. Give it a try it's worth it!”

Sugar & Spice Lounge
● Closed“My friend was raving about this place. Apparently there is a group on social media rating various eateries. This was one place to check out based on the group. I don't use social media so was curious. We dined during a Saturday evening. No booking but was seated out back , which looks like a big extension which is impressive in many ways. All built around a large oak-tree. Impressive. Front of house was extremely polite and welcoming. The member of staff was super polite and helpful with our menu selections and orders for beverages. Adding help and assistance along the way. I opted for a mocktail which was delicious and my dining guest had a milkshake which looked very nice. We chose starters which including chicken tikka and masala chips. Both were full of flavour and spice. In hindsight we should have shared our mains and naan to follow as the portion sizes for the mains were huge! My main was good. Full of chicken to the brim! I can't remember was my friend had but this looked and smelt amazing. My garlic naan was nice. This is my go to along with chicken tikka masala. We even took sight of chef with a yellow hat, looked the part. All things considered with price, service and quality you need to check this place out. Very recommended. Even the host looks like a magician in his red coat, a class act.”

Salaam Namaste
● Closed“First time in this restaurant tonight was very freshly cooked was a good service as well the only thing I did not agree with was the 12.5% on top of your bill I did not pay to hat as I much prefer to leave a tip for the waitress in which was much better as I asked where that went and it goes towards there wages which is wrong but still good food from starter to main worth a visit but do challenge to hat 12.5%”

Est. India
● Closed“We went there to dine in on a Sunday night, when none of the restaurants of our choice and close to us were open. Eat.India welcomed us at 8:40pm, were courteous, and the food ordered came out quickly. Delicious food, good portions, and prices just like any other Indian restaurants in the area. I appreciate them for the service.”

Kanishka by Atul Kochhar
● Closed“We had one of the best Indian fine dining in London. The ambience was awesome, we were greeted by smiling faces and the service was brilliant. We tried the set menu for our lunch and ordered some nibbles and sides as well. The non alcoholic king's enigma and passion fruit martini cocktails were really good with enough punch. For first course, we chose the baked mackerel and veg tikki and some fried chicken momo. They just fire up your taste buds. At this point, the expectations went higher for the second course, where we ordered the Chicken Kosha and the Halibut in masor tenga curry with red rice, bread basket and the signature kali daal. We were not disappointed as we felt like we are in eastern part of India and having the best quality dishes. For the third course, we tried the masala Chai creme Brulee while we were surprised by the complimentary Happy Birthday cake. Overall, really amazing place, centrally located in Mayfair just next to Oxford Circus. Would highly recommend and definitely coming back for more.”

Beckenham Curry Club
● ClosedUpper Elmers End Road, Elmers End, Elmers End, Beckenham BR3 3QZ, United Kingdom“Yet another top curry here with friends. Tried the balti this time which was very tasty and my friends had the dupiaza and karai, ans were equally as tasty. Great bonus to be able to bring our own drinks, because you know you can bring your favourite drinks, instead of what they used to have on offer. Well done chef great food and service.”

El Camion
● Closed“Fantastic little cosy restaurant in the heart of Soho. I was initially skeptical about the quality of the food and the price point as it looked expensive. The quality of the food was amazing. Highly recommend the pork carnitas quesadillas and the haddock tacos as well as the cocktails. Great service from friendly staff. Great vibe as well. 10/10 would recommend for dinner. Best book ahead.”

Cheeky Chicos Blackfriars
● Closed“We were in London for a family holiday. Staying at the nearby Premier Inn, I was looking for a nearby restaurant for dinner with the family. This was within walking distance and had good reviews. So decided to book the table at this restaurant. But we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was small but the décor was giving a feel of Mexico. The service was great and fantastic aromas filled the air. When the food started to arrive, we were highly impressed. It rekindled our taste buds. The cocktails and drinks were also amazing. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommended.”

Rossopomodoro Camden
● Closed“We went to Rossopomodoro for dinner today. Upon entering we were welcomed and placed immediately - everyone was very friendly and helpful throughout our visit. We had the Fusilli alla Carbonara (as good as in Rome) and the Linguine Vongole (also very good and fresh). For dessert we tried the recommended Baba' Napoletano - we were definitely not disappointed. ;)”

Trattoria Verdi
● Closed“Beautiful meal, served by beautiful Silvia (we LOVE her)! I am thrilled to have found an authentic Italian restaurant! The food was incredible and full of flavour! The pianist Pallo was fantastic, he created the best ambience for the restaurant. I came for a meal with my mum for my birthday and I can say in full confidence that without a doubt we will be here again. I cannot recommend the place enough. Thank you all in Trattoria Verdi!”

Factory House
● Open“Really good large steaks for a decent price. Ambience of the place is very nice and chilled”
-
Fairuz
● Closed“The only reason i wouldn’t give this gem 5 stars is the absence sometimes of Nayye or Lebanese Tartar. But this dish is delicate and meat freshness is a must so at the end, it makes sense not to have it everyday available. The staff are amazing especially the Egyptian chef de salle who brings class to the whole environment. I’ve eaten there 5 times the last year and won’t be stopping soon.”
-
El Pastor Soho
● Closed“I went for lunch here with a colleague and we had the best meal, all within the space of an hour. I highly recommend the Al Pastor tacos - these were the best thing I ordered. Closely followed by the fish tacos and the esquites (a must-have if you like corn!!). El Pastor is always a safe bet if you want good tacos. I’ve been to their restaurants in Borough Market and Coal Drops Yard, and can confirm that the Soho restaurant is a great addition.”

Pearl Liang
● Closed“We decided to come to this restaurant because of their location as it is very close by to Paddington station. Food is good, especially the Peking duck, the skin is super crispy and light! The roast pork also a hidden gem on the menu. Service is good and the decoration in the restaurant is lovely.”
-
Kaki
● Closed“Very cute bar/restaurant, with a small chilled terrace! Located on the Ice Wharf London Regent's Canal. Shame i didn't have food, as the menu seems so interesting, full of typical chinese dishes which pays attention to possible allergies. The prices also didn't seem too expensive. Definitely need to come and try this out, next time. The staff were very kind!”
-
Hutong
● Closed“Definitely for an occasion. We went for our 4 year anniversary, booked a month in advance so we got a table by the window. View was amazing. My boyfriend didn't like his first dish, complained about how dry it was and was quickly replaced by the rib dish. Service was amazing, food was delicious and so filling. Will definitely go again”
