The Colney Fox
● Closed“Wonderful service with great food. I haven't been for many years to the Fox, but was visiting with my Mum and we stopped by for a bite to eat. I had the Chicken pie. It was good. Friendly staff who helped us through our order as my mother had some dietary requirements. We'll certainly visit again.”
-
O'Neill's Kingston Upon Thames
● Open“You sort of know what you're going to get with an O'Neill's, which is a good thing. I was very impressed here, the security was efficient and friendly. Although it was busy, there was a good atmosphere and the service was very quick. The fight was being shown on various screens around the pub, and although that's not my thing, the rest of the atmosphere was good. One of the better branches in the chain.”

Wheelwrights Arms
● Closed“A lovely pub in the centre of Kingston with many tv's covering all sports, the choice of beers were cheap compared with many of the other pubs in the area. The staff were friendly and helpful and the place was a very friendly atmosphere. One to visit on your visit to Kingston.”

The Bishop
● ClosedOff Thames Street, Kingston Upon Thames KT1 1PY, United Kingdom“Great gastro pub food and excellent service from attentive, non pushy staff. Good menu selection includes veg/vegan. Booked for a Saturday late lunch for our 1 year anniversary and enjoyed decent steaks (1 rare, 1 med) with blue cheese sauce (on the side), fries and mushrooms. Very relaxed, despite it being quite busy we didn't feel rushed so enjoyed our drinks and took our time ordering dessert - one apple crumble (pictured) and a very sticky (good thing!) treacle tart with a (slightly small but proper) blob of whipped cream. Lovely early Christmas atmosphere.”

The Watchman - JD Wetherspoon
● Open“The decor is more akin to an airport pub or a 3 star hotel but it works well and feels spacious and glamorous. The drink prices are amazing even for a spoons. 99p for a Greene King IPA. Highly recommend best pub I've been to in New Malden.”
-
The Cricketers - Kew Green

They had water and dog treats for the puppy (cute touch) We had a selection of starters which were amazing, followed by some mains, off the the pub selection. They all tasted lovely and good value for money. The pub is really clean and fresh, with a lovely atmosphere. We were recommended this place via Facebook group and will be visiting again.”

Morden Brook
● Closed“having lived in morden all my life i was nervous when I was told we where going here as i remember how the pub used to be however, i had nothing to be nervous about the pub was very welcoming and clean. we went for a family meal last night we had a table booked for 10, the table was three tables close together which was ideal as we had our own little space and people could talk to others freely. the staff that served us where very friendly they informed us of a small wait for food, he was very attentive to our needs. the food was amazing all 10 of us enjoyed our meals not one complaint from anyone and very good value for money!, I can’t fault a single thing..thank you everyone we will definitely be back!”

Fox & Hounds
● Open“A proper pub. Prices would be alright anywhere in Britain, so for Zone 2 they are phenomenonal. Great company in here and friendly staff... if I lived round here it'd be my local for sure.”
-
The Boathouse
● Closed“I left a 1* review last week but have amended this to 5* based on my experience. I had been too hasty with my previous review and had deleted it but think a positive review is fairer. The manager Usha has been super helpful in resolving an issue we had with a Xmas booking - they managed to find a reasonable solution despite the fact that there was poor communication on our end. Usha called me back and was more than open during our discussion and generally really helpful and friendly. She did take some time to respond as was respecting office hours and didn’t want to call me too late - much appreciated and something I had not initially considered.”

The Blue Boat, Fulham Reach
● Closed“Nice pub on the river with a large outdoor space. We sat inside by the windows which the staff opened up for us when we asked. Good selection of drinks and the food looked great although we didn't eat there as had a table booed elsewhere for lunch. Staff were very nice and friendly and took the time to chat with us. Would definitely revisit when am next in the area”

-
Coach & Horses
● Closed“If I could stay here forever, I would. This place is so cute, and the customer service is excellent. Everything is clean and updated, the bed is comfy & they offer complimentary coffee, tea & homemade biscuits in our room. The mini fridge is STOCKED & while some items require payment, they are not too expensive (ex: Popcorn is less than I'd pay for it at Tesco or similar.) Breakfast in bed is £17.50 even for a Full Monty. It was delicious. We had an excellent dinner upon arrival. My fiance had the trout with Broccolini & and potatoes. I had the dry aged steak with thick fries & a side of broccolini as well. Everything was cooked perfectly, we had two drinks & paid £61 which I thought was a great deal, especially given the large portions. The bathroom has full-size hand soap, body lotion, bubble bath, shampoo, and conditioner, and they actually smell good & FEEL good. The bath tub is actually large enough for me to submerge my entire body (I'm 5'10") instead of either my upper body or my lower body. It was so nice to get warm after traveling in the cold weather (it was ~3⁰C/37⁰F upon arrival). The location is great, right across from a big pretty church and small grassy parks. It's also right near Kew Gardens for anyone looking to do a bit of tourism (like me). Overall, this little place makes big efforts to make you feel at home for an affordable price. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely stay here again when we return to England.”

● Open“Lived in Carshalton for years but never stepped inside the Racehorse. What a great pub. The bar lady on shift tonight was great. Gutted I have been in there sooner. New local for me from now on”
-
The Blue Ball
● OpenDeans Lane, Walton on the Hill, Tadworth KT20 7UE, United Kingdom“You can ignore all comments prior to a couple of months ago because The Blue Ball has a great new manager, Colin, who is turning the pub around. We had a good meal - my husband’s steak was the best he’d had in a restaurant for a long while. The desserts were good sized portions and were very good. Colin worked tirelessly all evening and engaged with every table. Drinks came quickly and food too but it wouldn’t have mattered if we’d had a little wait because we were enjoying the evening. Good to see the pub is changing. Keep up the good work.”
