“Jemma provided an excellent standard of care for my two guinea pigs while I was away for a week. One of our piggies is on medication and Jemma’s experience and knowledge was amazing. She provided us with regular updates and photos and it was a home from home for them. Jenny and Simone are looking forward to staying at Sleepy Burrows again soon!”

“Staff were very friendly and helpful, room was comfortable and very clean unfortunately, there was no breakfast cook so only continental breakfast was available however, the pub next door served full English buffet breakfast which was excellent. All amenities were available I.e hairdryer, iron etc. Would stay again”

“We were staying with a friend locally and we decided to travel with our dogs and kennel them locally for one night rather than kennelling them at home. We checked in our 2 dogs at Great Oaks following on from a recommendation and were delighted. Our boys were well looked after and the owner was very helpful and we were confident leaving them there.”

“I have stayed here for three nights in the double room. The room was very clean and nice. The location was also accessible to visit places. They also have free parking and breakfast. “Prash was very accommodating and helpful throughout my visit. This guesthouse is located about a 10/15 minute walk North of the train station and is very easy to get to. The room was clean, warm, and safe. The shower was very hot and a little tricky to get the hang of. There are a lot of local places to grab food. I stuck to Sainsburys as wasn’t there for long and made the big error of going to Papa Johns - awful customer service. There is also a chugger train which links Hornchurch, and Upminster. Overall, this was a pleasant stay at this guesthouse.”

“Extremely happy with the service and care of our cats. Before booking I was given a tour and was very impressed with the fact that there was air conditioning and heating available to suit different weather conditions. This cattery is a lovely family run business that continued care and accommodate our 2 cats even though we were hours late to collect them from their 8 days stay and at no extra cost. The cost was very reasonable and even though I had the full amount at time of booking only a deposit was asked of me. Will definitely use the service again in the future.”

“I was pleasantly surprised having not stayed at an Ibis since the days of bunkbeds. Staff were very pleasant, the room was a good size and the bed was conformable. Shower was large with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was well presented with good options. Happy to recommend. I will be staying again”

“I can't recommend Louise enough. We asked Louise to look after our pet rabbits while we were away for over a month. Louise was punctual everyday and our rabbits got looked after really well. Not only did Louise feed them the hay and nuggets that we had arranged but also cleaned the hutch regulalry and brought treats for them such as fresh fruits and veg. Frankly I think our rabbits were spoiled for choice during this time and I can't thank Louise enough for the love and attention she provided our pets with. Plus she posts daily updates on her FB group with pics and videos so we got to see how our little bunnies were doing everyday. Higly recommended!”
