"I had a fabulous stay at Ottley guest house, it was A good price and John was very helpful, Welcoming and friendly. He couldn’t do enough for you. As well there was a beautiful walk over the road. Where I walked with my little dog and a great cafe a short walk up the road. All dog friendly. I will definitely go back."

"clean room lovely shower,owner v.pleasent,and I had mentioned on phone when booking that I always bring pot noodle to eat,and upon arrival their was two porridge pots for breakfast and two pot noodles which was a nice touch,I will stay here again"

"I was moved to another (inferior) room on my last night. I was not informed and had the embarrassment of walking in to what was then someone else's room, luckily no one was there but it was still an unpleasant experience."

"We stayed two nights and had a water leak the first night and were moved to an alternative room. Generally the accomodation was very poor. Bed linen was old unironed and undesirable. Pillows flat. The bathroom was dangerous with rough edged steps and stained shower base black mould inbetween tiles and old black silicone. Dubious electrics with extension leads running everywhere. Washing machine and drier background noise. This is probably the worst accomodation I have stayed in."
