Essex Pooch Palace
“Have left my dogs with the Essex pooch palace for many years now and can honestly say I would not leave them anywhere else. It spotlessly clean (quite a task with so many dogs) The dogs are cared for like they were there own dogs and played and exercised with regularly. When my little chihuahua cross was brought there the first time, she was a bit anxious but everyone went that extra mile to spoil her and get her out of her shell. The staff are also quite knowledgable and giving good advice on dog question. Extra nice little touch is the regular update on Facebook of what they get up to whilst the owners are away. Can only give 5 stars as gmail does not allow more.. but in my view at 10 ** place”
The Cavendish London Hotel
“Every part of our stay was exceptional from start to end! We were warmly greeted at the front door where our luggage was taken and our car swiftly valet parked. Staff at reception were all friendly, warm and welcoming and we were offered a larger room or one with a view. (We chose the view!). Our room, on the 12th floor, had a gorgeous view of the Elizabeth Tower, London Eye etc. It was spotlessly clean and the bed was super comfy. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection. (Items like Eggs Benedict do attract a surcharge, but fair enough.) When we checked out we decided to leave the car parked for a bit longer while we went shopping. As with everything else, that request was met with a smile and a friendly, positive reply. We were truly sad to leave and will definitely be back as soon as we can. Why this isn't a 5 star makes no sense as the ones we've stayed at, Intercontinental included, can't hold a candle to this gem!”
The Rubens at the Palace
“Stayed at The Rubens for one night. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional. Excellent breakfast choices. Location is amazing. We had a couple of room issues and mentioned them at checkout in order for them to be corrected, we were not complaining as they hadn’t detracted from our stay however Laura was amazing and dealt with it very well indeed. A great base to see the London sights. Would definitely book again.”
JW Marriott Grosvenor House London
“One of the nicest Marriotts I’ve stayed in. The staff is welcoming and helpful. Everything about the hotel is first class. We stayed here for a week. Our room overlooked Hyde Park. Housekeeping made sure there were plenty of towels. Turn down service in the evening was a nice touch. The hotel is walking distance to most major attractions.”
InterContinental London Park Lane, an IHG Hotel
“The Intercontinental was lovely. By London standards, very good sized rooms. We decided to upgrade to a room with a view & we were happy we did. The staff was great & everyone we interacted with at the hotel was kind and accommodating. We very much enjoyed our stay! The price was a whopping 1197£ a night on booking but was able to find it the cheapest on Locktrip for 658£ a night, if you do this little trick and add this code L2M5Y before login you get it even cheaper, enjoy.”
Crystal Palace Park
“Lovely park. Massive! Be prepared to walk. There are a lot of benches so you can stop and rest when you need to. I love the dinosaur sculptures around the lake. They have boards to tell you about them. There is a cafe where you can get water, coffee, snacks. They also have paddle boats you can take out on the lake. It's not far from a bus stop.”
Peking Palace
“Always a Reliable Choice. We've been using this Chinese Takeaway for many years and never had a disappointing meal. Quick & accurate on the phone, pleasant service and food ready in about 20 minutes; Always fresh, hot and good. Portion sizes are large and prices seem fine to me. I can strongly recommend this place, call them up when passing Rayners Lane on the Met and your dinner is ready for collection as you pass the shop.”
Oriental Palace
“My favourite Chinese delivery in the area. Food is always of a high quality, delivered quickly and full of flavour. It's never too greasy like you find some Chinese meals. Prices are also really competitive. I would highly recommend!”
Beijing Palace Restaurant
“Lovely food, very friendly owner and her sister which were very accommodating and welcoming to us and our son. We use to come here prior to Covid regularly so glad it’s the same owner. Highly recommended”
Four Hundred Rabbits: Pizza Restaurant Crystal Palace
“Delicious pizza. Been here 3 times and each time flavours and freshness of ingredients have been consistent. Tomato sauce is both flavourful and plentiful. The sourdough base is thin and crispy. Go for the margherita with added garlic and chilli's, you won't regret it.”
Eastern Palace
“Absolutely great food service fantastic. Very friendly I have already recommended friends to the restaurant and they love it.”
Palace Spice
“I love it here. The staff are so generous and attentive and the food is always great. Perfect for a casual takeaway or dinner with friends.”
China Palace
“Absolutely fantastic. Extremely accommodating. The staff are so lovely. The food is amazing. I'm a vegetarian with a nut allergy and they always make sure I get a great portion size and great selection of veggie food. Could not fault them at all. Would recommend to everyone.”
Golden Palace
“Friendly and efficient service, I was offered a cup of tea while I waited for my food. I was advised that calling ahead wit my order would save me time. The food is delicious but not expensive .”
Caesars Palace Cafe
“I come here nearly everyday and always enjoy my meals. The customer service is 10/10. Highly recommend this gem in Wanstead high street. :)”
Scissors Palace
“Keeping myself well kept is extremely important to me and since I moved to London a couple of years ago, I didn't have any reason to look for any other salon... Quality services is something which one looks for but more than that, it's the people, flexibility, warmth and professionalism which I am swayed by at Scissors Palace Holland Park. There are many people I am thankful for starting from Shima, Nazie, Angela, Naji, Bhawna, Anju, Joanna and Jyoti. Unbelievable team or call them a dream team. More power to them!!!”
Palace Barber Shop
“My first time using this barbers and definitely not disappointed . Really friendly staff, clean and relaxed atmosphere and reasonably priced. Will be my new go to place for a haircut. Adam was fantastic at cutting my hair and he was really attentive and made sure I got the cut I wanted. Will be returning very soon.”
Palace Home & Hardware
“A great shop - they stock an amazing range of household goods and are outstandingly friendly and helpful”
Flipper's Roller Boogie Palace
“Fantastic fun for either family and friends. Cocktails were a little pricey ( but expected in london) but nice and strong. I didn't order food here, but it did look amazing. Great atmosphere, and staff go above and beyond to assist you if you are a beginner skater. Cannot wait to go again.”
Hotel Indigo London - Kensington, an IHG Hotel
“This hotel was perfect for us. We really liked being right at Earl's Court. Very convenient to jump on the tube and get to anywhere we needed to go. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Victoria was awesome at helping us get our room situated (first one the tv didn't work), second one the tub drain didn't work. But you're going to have these types of issues in an older hotel. Victoria kept at it until she got us accommodated like we wanted. Thank you! But we would def stay here again. Loved the breakfast, staff were absolutely fabulous. Alicia, Hannah, Maria and Sharven were so happy to serve you every morning. They did a great job! Can't wait to come back.”
YHA London Oxford Street Hostel
“Situated near a metro station, in a quiet area, it's a really cost effective stay option. The girls dorm rooms are neat and the bathrooms are very clean. The have bunk beds, all the guests were very considerate of others, making sure not to disturb anyone. They have a kitchen downstairs where u can heat up food and socialize. I'd recommend opting for their breakfast option as it's really reasonably priced and they have amazing croissants. You can have toast and butter, cereals, fruit etc. Loved it!”
The Royal Horseguards Hotel & One Whitehall Place, London
“This hotel was AMAZING!!! I had never been to London but was told to stay in Westminster and I’m so happy to have stayed in this hotel. The hotel is near (less than .5 mil in any direction) most things tourists want to see . It’s situatuted in a beautiful area of London as well. First off, it’s beautiful inside and out. DO NOT SKIP BREAKFAST, because it’s the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel. A full array of meats, cheeses, breads and side dishes. Most days I skipped lunch because I ate too much at breakfast! The room was amazing and clean. The bed was larger than expected (most European hotel beds are smaller) and it was very comfortable. The staff is fantastic. I wanted to visit a popular restaurant and asked the staff to make me a reservation. They immediately called and said the restaurant was full, but the restaurant had a sister location in Chelsea that they already called and had availability. They called a cab for me and it ended up being one of my best meals on our trip across Europe. All of this to say, I will be staying there again and I would highly recommend this hotel.”
hub by Premier Inn London Soho hotel
“Convenient location and was comfortable for the few nights I stayed. Room was clean and love that you are able to control the AC, lighting and Do Not Disturb sign on the bed headboard. Didn’t have the breakfast or visit the lounge area but it looked nice and modern. Staff are also friendly on check in and when I left the building in the mornings. The Hub hotels are smaller rooms in comparison to the usual Premier Inn. They provide shower and hand wash, but if you forget anything else there is a Co-op down the road. For me, it was the perfect hotel for what I needed it for and would stay again.”
Montcalm Royal London House
“Went to the spa here. Very lovely place. Staff were friendly from all areas. Facilities were small and average. Sauna out of order which my partner always enjoys. Not much privacy around the spa. We both got a massage and it was amazing. Both masseurs Rosa and Suna were lovely and friendly and did really good jobs. Definitely the best part of the visit. Don't think it was completely worth the money as you only get 1 hour use of facilities with offer.”
Crystal Palace Reptiles
“Love this place, brought a few ball pythons from there (top quality) all came with health checks and advice on how to look husbandry. Great advice and variety of stock. Definitely top of my list for feed and supplies. Would be in there more often but the misses has limited my visits as I'll always fi d something to take home. A absolute must for reptiles and aquatics.”
The May Fair, A Radisson Collection Hotel, Mayfair London
“I went for one night with a friend for a special occasion and everything was amazing. We received an upgrade from the house to a family room. It had two queen beds and two bathrooms, just for two of us! At the arrival, there was an amazing bottle of Prosecco, a card and some chocolate strawberries waiting for us to celebrate our special occasion. The bed was very comfortable and was a shame when I had to leave early.. I would have loved to have a lie- in! The lobby manager Anna was very professional and kind. I really enjoyed my stay and I hope to get back as soon as possible.”
Wizard Cleaning - Crystal Palace
“Good availability, communication and results. Have used this company twice now and have been very happy with the outcome. Would recommend and use again.”
The Fish Palace
“Hugely underrated fish and chip shop. Far better than others in the area that have people queuing round the block on a Friday evening. The batter is always crispy, which is the main thing, and the chips aren’t overly oily. Lucky to have this place.”
Golden Palace
“Good quality food and amazing service. Friendly environment with accommodating staff.”
