“This was my favorite pub. We spent a great deal of time and money there. Good friends made, both staff and locals. Unfortunately, the manager, has no class and a bad attitude. The Runner is on suspension, for me, for 60 days. If it ever happens again, I won’t spend another £ there. Reply - I am not about to Dox anybody. We love the food, atmosphere and friendships. The absolute majority of your staff is excellent. A little bit of tact goes a long way though, as opposed to a “Shoosh”. You should indeed have a conversation with managers about how they deal with people, especially some that drop 500 quid a month. Thanks, Ollie, Very Best. Update - The Running Mare has definitely upped their game. Give credit where credit is due. This is a wonderful place where You will find kind and interesting people. “Mr Kim went far beyond the call of duty for me during my fight with Cancer. He even personally did a couple of home deliveries by bike when I was unable to collect prescribed medication. He is very friendly and helpful at all times and I cannot recommend this pharmacy highly enough. Superb service every time.”

“My second visit and it was just as good as the first. A lovely long boozy lunch with friends. Food exquisite. Ate from the Xmas menu and the turkey was delicious (not dry at all). An amazing espresso martini too. A firm favourite.”

“One of the best kebab shops I have ever used. Their food is so tasty and always fresh - their chips are SO good - well everything is good. Great for a treat if you're looking for something a bit unhealthy but their salads and chicken kebabs are delicious if you're looking for something a bit healthier too. Definitely recommend!”

“Just wanted to say 'thank you', especially to the male member of staff on checkout/stacking who helped me greatly and stopped me having a bit of a meltdown when my electric wheelchair decided to take some timeout at the checkout this afternoon, he was kind, considerate, polite and understanding and reassured me that my dilema was not a problem even though I could hear a few 'tuts' from customers behind me. “Christmas Eve dinner was fabulous. First time at the Fairmile and we had such a lovely and relaxing dinner. Staff were all so friendly and welcoming. Efficient and prompt food service. We were seated at the perfect quiet table with no other guests. A roast dinner can often be a rather drab affair with poor ingredients which ruins the whole meal or if the kitchen doesn't know how to cook it properly. This Christmas roast turkey was a very very good plate of food. Good quality ingredients. Roast potatoes cooked in goose fat - made a difference. The turkey meat was tender and juicy. All the vegetables and stuffing cooked to perfection - bear in mind this is in a pub not home cooked. To finish off - enjoyed the tasty Christmas pudding. Thank you to all the staff at the Fairmile pub for making our Christmas Eve dinner so greatly enjoyable.”

“I do like this petrol station. Obviously you get nectar points on your petrol, but it’s really handy for top up shops after the main store has closed. There is a cash point, a car wash and the shop is well stocked with essentials and other things like beer, wine chocolates and flowers. Also sell essential items for the car too, screen wash, antifreeze, emergency canister for reinflatung tyres etc etc. Staff are always nice and friendly.”
