"This practice is not fit for purpose. Constantly changing vets, no continuity of care, no communication between them, between consultations and clearly working to charge the most possible per visit. One vet expressed concerns about signs of gum disease in my cat over a year ago, said to keep an eye on it. Incidental finding when doing a routine checkup. So next consultation I had a few months later I asked how are his teeth/gums are doing and, a different vet, of course never see the same one twice, said his gums are fine, don’t worry about it, said they are not sure why their colleague said anything. Quite odd. One vet is concerned, one isn’t. Who do i trust? Over the next 12 months, 3-5 more vet visits go by since the incidental finding and suddenly they are saying he has severe disease and needs dental surgery. How can it go from no concerns to that? When he’s been seen by vets multiple times in between and supposedly they’ve flagged a concern about teeth in the past. They just never bothered to check, or wanted it to get bad enough so they could intervene in a more lucrative way, neither is a good answer. I cant check his teeth, I don’t know what I’m looking for, I take him multiple times a year for claw trims and other checks, I had asked about his chewing habits too. They don’t actually care. All they want to do is take your money and judge you for not doing more. I am ashamed it’s taken me so long to notice the negligent care they provide and I am heartbroken my cat has paid the price. I feel totally used and let down by voo vets. Do not take your pet here, you cannot trust them or guarantee safe care."
