Apna Indian Cuisine
● Closed“We love Apna! This is our go-to takeaway. We've tried most dishes on the "modern classics" menu and have enjoyed each one, but our favourite is the Gurkha's Revenge (lamb) and Pista Malai (chicken). They are always so friendly on the phone as well. I wish it was a restaurant because I would go in a flash. Thank you Apna team for consistently wonderful food!”

The Harefield
● Closed41 High Street, Harefield, Uxbridge UB9 6BY, United Kingdom“Friendly, traditional little pub in the heart of Harefield. Have visited twice, receiving a warm welcome and good service on both occasions. The menu is limited, but the food is tasty and the portions generous. As it is cooked to order, you may need to wait a little longer for your food on busy days, but it is well worth it. The scampi and chips are yummy! I'm looking forward to my next visit.”

The Alliance NW6
● Closed“We visited for Sunday lunch with family. This is a great pub with super friendly staff who make you feel more than welcome. We were looking a bit tight on our table and without prompting they offered us a bigger one. They don't just have a creche they have a craft creche so our associated 5 yrs old was able to make a mask and a pirate picture/telescope in between joining us for lunch and drinks. Oh and among other quality drinks they sell Sea Cider, not the Blood Orange variety but nevertheless a delicious tipple I recommend you try if you visit. The food was perfectly delicious my chicken leg was probably the best cooked chicken I've had in such an establishment this year. Soft tender and perfectly cooked, arrayed on a huge mound of well cooked veg with a huge dollop of the finest bread sauce I've ever had (Don't tell my Mum I said that). Everyone else enjoyed their grub too even the 12 week old baby although she was breast feeding so perhaps that was more of a sure thing. I highly recommend this den of luncheons although it's excellence is clearly no secret as there were would be diners who could not get a table and left sad and unreplenished. I recommend booking, bribing or otherwise ensuring your seat before heading along there.”

The Prince

Shockingly so as I didn’t know what to expect but the pate was clearly home made (or they have a supplier that does make it homemade?!) and tasty burger along with halloumi fries that were delicious.”

The Old Red Lion
● Closed“Popped in for a Sunday roast and was very impressed! Staff really friendly and welcoming, and a good range of beers. Sitting by the window with the rain pouring down was cosy. I had roast pork belly which was a generous portion, tender and well seasoned. Really tasty gravy, and we were offered extra part way through demolishing our meals. A real contender for best roast locally alongside the Prince of Wales - I’ll certainly be back.”

The King & Co
● Closed“Attentive waiting staff and decent pie. Pie took a long time to come which was the only downer although it was good when it came! Really like this pub generally though hence the five star. Would knock it down to 4* for pie slowness but imagine it was a one off.”

The Rylston
● Closed“Ordered Sunday lunch for takeaway twice now and both times they have been absolutely fantastic. I am vegan and can be quite picky with nut roasts as they are often quite dry, but the one from the Rylston is perfect. Roast comes with all the trimmings, including fresh veg, roasties and most importantly Yorkshire puddings. Staff are all really friendly too! Would definitely recommend and will use the service again, thanks!”
-
