"Really nice, traditional style boozer about 10 minutes’ walk up the hill from Chalk Farm and the round house. And being out of the way a little - quite a lot quieter than the pubs in Camden Centre. 3 choices of hand drawn ale and half a dozen or so tap beers. A relatively limited food offering but nice enough to keep you going. Nice, friendly staff and quick service."

"It's a really good, boozer this. I'm disappointed I didn't take any pictures of our food, but the prices were reasonable, the portions plenty, the food tasted good and the staff friendly. Great chilled decor, and I would recommend a visit and perfect for a Sunday afternoon roast while watching the rugby/footy."

"At 1st glance it looked a little shabby but we gave it a chance, ordered from the bar and had a couple of drinks, staff were friendly and helpful, food came quick enough and have to say it was absolutely amazing, chef definaey deserves the 5 stars, definitely going back."

"Really tasty Sunday roast, one of the best we have had in London recently. Good sized pub and welcoming atmosphere. Would have liked the option of a milk stout / porter but if you're a lager or ale fan you'll be fine here. Decent wine list too. Tables near the bar are a bit too close to where people are queuing to order, would have switched to one of the nice booths but you have to get in quickly for them! Friendly staff, they know what they are doing here. Would definitely come back if I'm in the area."

"Lovely pub with a great atmosphere. We really enjoyed the food, we all had roasts and the quality was evident in the cooking of everything, including the vegetables, excellent nut roast too, delicious. Friendly, enthusiastic staff, a range of great beers, wines well-chosen also. And I've learned there's a fortnightly jazz night on a Tuesday, so I'm definitely up for that. Nice one!"
