“I visited here on Christmas Eve 2022 with my brothers and mother. We were served by a waiter called Ted who was beyond friendly, considerate and catered to us massively. Considering how busy it was being Christmas Eve, Ted made our experience a breeze and was the most accommodating waiter we could have asked for. Would 100% revisit and if you have Ted as a server/waiter you will be the luckiest!”

“Lovely food and atmosphere. Good service and great food presentation. The first time we tried chicken, this time, the whole squid for starter and salmon trio as the main course. So delicious. Baklava was fresh.We will come back.”

“If you are from out of town and want that REAL British food this is the place. Mushy peas, Fish and Chips, and local selections of beer. This is a pub so just expect to do things the way you would at a pub. The staff was nice to us out of towners. Good location and decent price.”

“After a Christmas Shopping trip to Bromley, we decided to take the kids to Harvester for lunch. Our server was Lorna, and she was fantastic. Friendly and accommodating; always checking if we were okay and enjoy the food. The food was excellent with portion sizes perfect (huge). As a vegan, I was a bit apprehensive at first about what would be available. I was pleasantly surprised by the selection available and, blown away by the taste! We were also impressed with the kids menu and the variety available to them. Over all an outstanding experience! Thank you, crooked Billet Harvester and, thank you Lorna our wonderful server.”

“I,ve visited this establishment a number of times courtesy of my ciu affiliation membership and a finer club you could not find in the area with a well kept bar serving drinks at very reasonable prices plus a diverse mix of members one can turn up and discuss matters such as the correct ratio of sand and cement to make a rendering repair to the latest movements on the stock exchange or perhaps the current political situation in Ukraine the club positevly oozes olde worlde rustic charm with a distinctly bohemian atmosphere if one is in the need of a little liquid refreshment and perhaps an intellectual debate cannot recommend this jewel in a grubby setting highly enough don,t however take my word for it please pop in and obtain a membership form from one of the bar staff.”

I’m fussy with juices but the staff guided me to a lovely chocolate milkshake which I don’t regret at all! Their ranges of juice are plentiful and their prices shockingly low!! “Amazed by this find in the centre of Bromley. I always feel like it’s quite difficult to find a good fresh fish restaurant in London and surroundings: they all tend to deep fry everything and that’s annoying. The Blue Harbour offers a good selection of sea delicacy, big enough portions and a lovely service from the staff. We had a warm welcome as soon as we crossed the door and it didn’t stop until we left. The menu offers a good selection of fish as well as shellfish and seafood with an add on of steak for those who also can’t give up meat! Admirable selection of wines too. Overall it’s a bit pricy, however considering the quality of the food and it’s freshness I do think it’s fair. I will definitely recommend this restaurant and come back for the halibut!!”

They were very friendly, the food absolutely delicious, never had such a tasty and great sized burger in a pub before, and in good price so hats of chef...told him too. Definitely worth a visit. “Very pleasantly surprised by this place. The roast was one of the best I have had in a long while and such good value for money. And the service was fantastic - we had our kids with us and it all felt very relaxed. We will definitely be coming back!!”

“Edit August 2022 - five stars. I have visited the pub 6 times and have found the service and food pretty consistent, from the first day of opening to some of their most busiest times in the evenings and sunny days. They do roast dinners very well, the condiments are as good as the food and I suspect they are freshly made on site - horseradish had enough burn, mint sauce tastes fresh etc. There is a good selection of draught, as well as soft drinks. The luscombe brand is well worth trying as a non-alcoholic drink. Soda water is also available by the pint which is good to see. As a vegetarian option (can't remember if they are vegan), the allotment salad is tasty and available as main or small plate. I have had it twice and the leaves have always been fresh. If you don't like much dressing I'd recommend asking for it on the side, however it is the right amount for me. I did prefer the salad to the veggie haggis pie as I felt the flavours didn't blend as well with the rest of the filling. If you enjoy meat options, I would definitely recommend the chicken pie as a hearty option. A nice salad option would be the sticky beef salad, although I would recommend taking it as a smaller portion than the large main. The steak frites was delicious, very well cooked, a tasty steak and you definitely can taste is a higher quality cut. If it is a Sunday, definitely try out the roast dinners, you won't be disappointed. I have tried two of the desserts, a morello cherry sundae (with popping candy) and the dairy free Belgium waffle dessert. I think that both were equally good. The cocktails are great, I also enjoy the hot drinks too. If you are looking to visit in busier times, I would definitely recommend booking. The managers and staff are friendly and hardworking, this pub is definitely a welcome treat for the local area. I'd say, to get this review to 5 stars, it will just come with time as we know the hospitality industry in under pressure and novice staff are undergoing training, which can be more complex than it looks.”

“Fantastic! Decided to go out for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon, and wanted to stay local. I ordered a lunchtime cheeseburger special, and my partner ordered a steak. Both delicious and cooked to perfection. Jack himself served us and is an extremely welcoming and personable guy. Cannot fault anything!”
