“Such a lovely restaurant with beautiful decor. Very clean, the lady was so lovely and welcoming, the food was amazing and fresh. We had the lamb Samsoa, Lentil Samosa which was nice and light with a beautiful garlic dip. I would recommend this place. Its 10/10.”

“Excellent food with super friendly service. Unlimited tortillas with most dishes means you certainly won't be leaving here hungry, although we still managed to find space for churros (even though we did just get a couple to share). Great selection of meat and vegetarian dishes, and most would be shareable if you can't decide. The only negative (and certainly not enough to remove a star) is that the 'four portion bottle' of margarita was definitely only three. The picture attached shows two of the three portions we poured out, both with ice in the glass.”

“Everything at the place was amazing. Beef brisket burrito bowl was my favorite. Unlike the US guacamole was complementary! The food portions were very generous for a hungry tourist who was walking around all day. The staff went above and beyond.”

“If you’re looking for real, delicious Mexican food and vibes - you should definitely visit this place! So many types of yummy tacos, burritos, quesadillas and much more + fantastic cocktails. Tacos could be a bit cheaper though, but that’s the only downside. I can still 100% recommend this place :)”

“Omg, I will dream about Tuna tostadas for the days to come! I’ve been there with my partner and we loved this small independent Mexican restaurant in the Shoreditch area. We had 4 different dishes in our dinner - tuna tostadas, fish tacos, hibiscus quesadilla and prawn cheviche. The tuna tostadas was incredible - an explosion of flavours coming from raw tuna served on a crisp tortilla bread with an avocado base. I also enjoyed the hibiscus quesadilla, a flavour I’ve never had in my life. Staff is very kind (they offered us a shot), whereas the atmosphere of the restaurant is very cozy and homey”

“Great place! I only wish I'd known about it sooner. You can get all you need here to whip up super tasty and authentic Mexican dishes. Salsa Verde, ready made tortillas, corn flour including the blue corn flour, mole sauce (From Oaxaca), ancho and pasilla dried chili's, cute gifts and jewelry, ready made tamales in the freezer, and lots of Mexican candy, soda/beverages and so much more!! I will definitely come back here when I've run out of Mexican ingredients to buy more here and continue to develop my Mexican cooking skills.”

“Went last week for dinner and was absolutely amazing, service, food and the atmosphere felt very welcoming. Arturo was looking after our table and he was very friendly and he also made some menu recommendations. We tried the tacos for two, you can never go wrong with carnitas! Tried the tres leches for dessert an absolutely hit is so hard to find a good tres leches but the one a Mestizo is just perfect. Since the dinner experience was outstanding we decided to come back on Saturday for drinks, the atmosphere was very welcoming and home likely, we got a welcoming entrance from Isaac who took our jackets away and made the beginning of our night very pleasant and he recommended us son drinks that we tried at the bar and they were amazing the bar staff were very attentive to us specially the girl with tattoos that we could catch her name. Overall outstanding 5 star ⭐️ service. We definitely coming back and making Mestizo our local.”

“We had been waiting to go here for a long time and finally got ourselves a table. It was soooo worth the wait. All of the team were so down to earth but so friendly and warm at the same time. The service was really relaxing but so attentive, which made the experience such a positive one. It had a relaxed feel to the meal whilst delivered Michelin star quality. The open kitchen added to the experience as you were able to see, hear and smell what was going on throughout the event. The food was unbelievable from start to finish, delivering on the true taste of Mexico whilst surprising and delighting at every opportunity with unique twists. Our table all had different favourite dishes, my personal choice being the secial squid dish. All round fantastic experience and would fully recommend. I'd be surprised if this isn't starred in the next 12 months.”

“Amazing buffet brunch on Sunday: traditional Mexican food (stews of beef, pork, chicken, meatballs, veg options, rice, beans, and tamales) plus tacos made to order. Everything was delicious. The best Mexican I’ve found in London, and I’ve tried a lot. Most people here are Spanish speakers - I don’t know accents well enough to identify if they’re Mexican! But I’d hazard a guess. Forgot to check the price before ordering but I don’t care what it ends up being. Sublime.”
