“Friendly store attendant and nice selection for a small duty free shop, didn’t have some of the things I was looking for but a large selection of fragrances, limited watches, great wallets and a large women’s section, some great shoes and hand bags! Over all worth the stop on your way out!”

“I read the other reviews here and feared the worst. In the end I was served by an extremely helpful, friendly, knowledgable and very personable Italian woman who made me feel as if she actually wanted to help and was there to make sure you got something you really wanted, as opposed to just getting your money and hope you leave as quickly as possible. I’ve visited 3 branches in total and all of them have negative feedback, but I’ve never had anything too bad, after the experience here, if I never read reviews I would have thought Barker sales people were amongst the best. I guess it’s more a fact that it’s down to the random person you happen to get served by. Some people might be rude and some aren’t, if you’re planning on visiting a branch of Barker shoes don’t go by reviews, go in and decide for yourself if you thought the service was good or bad. For me the service was amongst the best I’ve received in any store and what I’d expect from a high end store and I hope it is for you when you visit.”

“Great experience at this branch and a big shout out to Luis! I was looking for a short-notice outfit for my wedding, having left it pretty late to get something tailored. Luis (manager) went above and beyond to help me out. I attended the branch multiple times with queries and he offered honest suggestions and was genuinely keen to help me out, going above and beyond. The alterations to my shirts and suit were done really well. My overall experience means that I will definitely return to this branch later in the year for the suit I need this coming summer.”

Staff seemed knowledgeable about shoe construction and was able to advise on good fit and care, without being in any way overbearing or pushing for a sale. Very professional, especially compared to other shoe stores in the same price range. Helped us feel at ease about what was (for us) a pricey purchase.”

“Don't listen to these reviews, just a bunch of militant, terrorist minded vegans that have never been inside the store and are just triggered because of fur being sold. The store is beautiful and there's a lot time and effort put into all the clothes, sure the sell fur but other fabrics as well you have to see it to believe it. The store owner is Run by Daria she also runs a beauty shop locally in town and its probably more successful than her jacket line lol.”

The excellent customer service really makes them stand out and they don't try to force you to buy rubbish like the other stores do. The one star reviews must be from disgruntled customers. There is no fault whatsoever in their work and they treat all of their customers so nicely. They can also deal with remote orders and are always responsive via phone/message.”
