The food is absolutely delicious and healthy, a choice of goodness I’ve been waiting for a very long time in Canning Town, as it’s now only filled with greasy takeaways. The Milk Tree is an oasis of high quality and extremely tasty healthy meals. Plus good coffee and delicious cakes and pastries if you’d like a sweet treat too.”

“We visited this pub for a meal with friends. Its a big pub with plenty of room. Food was excellent with a large choice and big portions. We were particularly impressed with the gluten free options which my wife requires. The service was quick and the staff friendly. All in all, a very good night out and this is definitely a place to visit for good value for money.”

The decor is great with traditional pub setup - plenty of tables and space for a good night to be had! Bouncers were decent enough and kept the clientel well behaved! “Very close to the train station, town and other key places. Clean, has security at night who buzz you in which adds to the element of safety. Very friendly night manager who kindly gave me his own iPhone charger to borrow after I realised I didn’t bring mine.”

“I spent 4 days 3 nights with 48 students there and I really appreciated my stay Yes, the place is atypical as a youth hostel since there is a pub downstairs and it's quite lively at night. However, the staff is wonderful and very caring. I'll definitely come back, but not with underage students.”

“Great location just off the M25 and opposite the new building area that will be the Sunset Film Studios. Views therefore are limited at the moment. Breakfast is available and is great. Rooms are comfortable and fairly quiet given the location. The bed was comfortable and warm. Will always stay here when visiting family. There is a car park out the back with plenty of space. Staff were friendly and informative. Tea and coffee is available in the room and extras can be taken from reception for the coffee and tea lovers out there. There is a small bar if you want to chillout before bed.”

“I’ve been a member here for over a year now so I feel I’m in a good position to leave an accurate review. I will try and the short and to the point. Short version: I come here for the atmosphere and the friendships I’ve made with the PTs, facilities are great never a long wait for anything even at peak times. Theres pricing for a monthly member with a pay-as-you-go option, but full-time members get free parking. More in-depth review below. Facilities: A great selection of cardio and weight equipment, with two or three new machines having been added since my membership. The staff seem very on top of maintaining and replacing equipment; and even at peak times I’ve never had to wait very long for a piece of equipment . There are dozens of classes going on throughout the week, and Sofia runs the Milon programme which seems very popular. I’ve never personally taken a class but they take place either on the gym floor or in one of the studio rooms. Having observed some of the classes going on in the morning the PTs seem motivated and seem to respond well to the members and they leave looking absolutely knackered. There is a good size pool, again I don’t go there often but there are many classes and also three swimming lanes, I’m not sure if they’re designated swim times for young children or not . Staff: I can personally say that I have made great friends with many of the PTs, Kieran the fitness manager, Ben, Jess, Harry, Sofia are all lovely lovely people, extremely knowledgeable, and even if they’re occupied they always seem to make time for people with questions or people wanting advice. Even if they’re just walking the gym floor if they see that you are unsure or perhaps doing something that would risk injury, they’ll come and have a quiet chat. I’ll be moving away from the area, but I will make the drive back to this gym because it’s such a friendly and vibrant atmosphere. Price: As a full member depending on what promotion is on you can expect to pay between £45 and £55 if you go to the gym more than three times a week it’s best to become a full member rather than Pay As You Go as the monthly cost works out cheaper, I signed up doing a promotion so I didn’t have to pay a joining fee these promotions seem to run fairly often so always worth asking. Based on what the gym has, and the people who work here I would say this gym is very good value for money. And full members get free parking.”

“They did a great job with my 9 year olds ear piercings. Will go back when and if it's time for my younger children to get theirs done. As I got my ears pierced at a festival as a teenager, one thing I was concerned about before going was positioning the holes as perfectly as possible and I was satisfied that was done.”
