“Attended two days training here, didn't stay the night unfortunately, employer too tight. Lovely hotel and buffet breakfast is free for guests or £7.95 Which was lovely and very good value. Strangely, they don't serve Lunch or Dinner but plenty of local places to go”

“The younger lady with the straight black hair really made the stay for us. We didnt catch her name but she worked the counter and was in the kitchen for one morning of our trip as well. I wanted to give her a shout out because she was always very smiley and definitely made us feel comfortable. I hope she sees this and gets the recognition she deserves from management! Definitely their top employee!”

“The seats are so comfy. Have a limitless pass so doesn't matter if film is rubbish, worth it for the reclining seats. Only downside is people seem to have forgotten what a bin looks like. Not the staff fault”

“This my local gym, and it is very good and worth the £36 a month. I tend to go during the evenings after 8 and it's very nice. + Very clean. + Very modern. + Employees helpful. + Great air con during the summer. + TVs are a welcome addition. - Music is EDM and house, with cliché, done to death build ups and drops... it's a bit repetitive I must say. Can we get some Daft Punk? Maybe some rock n' roll and metal? Kyuss is a good band ;) - Another squat rack is desperately in need please!”

I cannot praise all the staff highly enough - both in the hotel and the Brewer's Fayre next door - for their helpfulness, politeness and professionalism, especially Judith on Reception. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and great value for families with the kids eat free deal :-) You won't be disappointed here - do give it try!”

“I was disappointed that there was no lift, as women travelling alone are always put on the top floor for some reason. My room was also the first one from the stairs. Fortunately I was only disturbed but one group of people shouting along the corridor. My main complaint, though, was the freezing cold water coming from the shower. When I mentioned this to the receptionist as I left, she told me I should have informed reception. When I said I'm not sure how when I was in the shower, she just said "oh". Update to previous review: I stayed here last weekend and it felt completely different to last time. The day before I arrived, one of the receptionists, Megan, rang to check if there was anything in particular that I required for my room. I have been staying in Premier Inns for years and have stayed in loads of them and this has never happened before. She asked if I was coming for a special occasion and I mentioned it was my birthday the previous day and that I was visiting my daughter. When I arrived in my room, I found a box of chocolates, a can of lager and a small bottle of sparkling wine, along with a card and birthday message from the hotel. I thought this was such a lovely thing to do. Megan deserves a special mention because she was extremely friendly and helpful during my stay.”

“The Old Moat Garden Center is very lovely and quiet. They do freshly baked cakes and baked good at the cafe. Outside seats are available and private and not much if any road noise can be heard. The garden centre itself is not too large and offers everything you need.”

“Just popped in on opening day to pick up a flat white and a cup of tea on the way home from the shops. Great look inside and the coffee was on point. I would reccomend for sure. Great to have this place on the parade of shops.”

“Come here everytime I visit home to catch up with friends. Always such friendly staff and happy atmosphere. Great milk alternative options, always options for vegan/veggie food. Love the sweet shop too! Dog friendly and close to park for walk and feeding ducks.”
