Bemerton Children's Centre
“Daughter attended the nursery and absolutely loved it. Staff are kind, caring and dedicated, cannot recommend enough.”
Waggles Pet Emporium, Bromley
“Excellent service provided by Barbara. Wide range of toys and treats for our fur baby!”
Moggie Minders Cattery
“When I immigrated to the UK, I needed a place for my cats to stay while I looked for permanent accommodation. I was very worried about how they would cope with going from a long haul flight to an unfamiliar place, especially considering that the one is quite anxious. They were totally fine! Whenever I visited them, they both seemed very content and they were very well looked after. Rita was accommodating and easy to get hold of and I'll definitely use Moggie Minders again :)”
Water Fountains
“Very nice landscaped riverside area by City Hall and with great views of the Tower of London, Tower Bridge and the City skyline. So many cafes and restaurants around and the closest station is London Bridge…”
Olympic Park Splash Fountain
“I was today 14 July 2022, my kids enjoyed so much. Definitely we coming back .”
Whipsnade Zoo
“A great day out for couples! Plenty of space for a picnic or for a rest in general during sunny and warm days in between of walking around. Plenty to see- you need at least 8h to be able to see everything properly. I would suggest leaving early. There's plenty of free parking. There’s an option to convert your ticket to a membership for a low fee and then you can get more for your money if you like going to Zoo more then once a year.”
The White Swan
“Great pub by the Riverside, alot of age and character. Good selection of beers on. They even have a cellar bar at the side of the pub to take the pressure off the bar on sunny days, great idea. I recommend all day long.”
Cool Cuts for Kids
“Great child-friendly place to get a haircut. The lady that washed and cut my daughter's hair was super friendly and made sure I was happy with the length. She also gave her some treats, which she really liked. The man at the desk was also very helpful and polite. Overall a good and relaxed experience.”
Ebury Play Area
“Nice play Park for kids, could do with a few more swings only 2 on site, a little take away coffee bar would be good as well, but still enjoyed it and you can walk over the bridge to the big lake, watch waters ports and feed the ducks”
meetspaceVR (ft Zero Latency)
“We were greeted and made comfortable by a Mr James number 2, who gave us a lovely friendly introduction and guided us through the briefing process. We then went on to play outbreak origins and another zombie game which were great fun, with guidance from James throughout the experience and was a great time for both gamers and non gamers and all ages. Thanks again James the 2nd!”
Odds Farm Park
“Amazing gift shop and play area. The wooden playground is amazing. Especially the boat! My kids loved the huge sand pit with diggers in. I just wished there were a few more animals to see. None were outside, but maybe that was due to it being cold. It would be nice if they had a few others, maybe alpacas, lizards, Meerkats, snakes. Many other farms like this do we have visited lately. It also lacked a tractor ride, which my 2-year-old was asking for. Friendly staff. It looked nice and clean.”
The Pump House Theatre and Arts Centre
“Small and cute. Friendly staffs. Enjoyed my first visit.”
Let's Pretend
“I love this place! The owner is lovely, you can tell she has children as the attention to detail is fantastic. The staff are all lovely and the food is brilliant lots of choice, most importantly everywhere is so clean :) my two year old was captivated for 2 hours and the adults can have a coffee and watch- perfect activity would highly recommend!”
Epsom Playhouse
“Its a quaint cosy theatre in the main run by volunteers who are very friendly & helpful. There is not a bad seat to be had..it was great being able to go to the panto with our family again this year & we are looking forward to seeing more performances throughout the year ahead”
Marble Hill Playcentres
“My kids (3.5 and 2 years old) love going to the One O’Clock Club (for kids 0-5 years). It is now open till 5pm, giving more time to play after napping. The Playground is very safe - no swings or big slides or high climbing. And there are great play-workers there playing with the kids and doing all sorts of activities. That means I can relax and enjoy a cup of coffee!!! And yes - there is great coffee there now as well!! The kids can play inside and outside, so a great place to come rain or shine. Our favorite so far has been the big sand pit with a parasol over it. There is also a brilliant Adventure Playground for over 5s, where the kids play independently and the parents are not allowed. You can go in together on the family days (first Saturday of every month) with the younger ones as well. My daughter absolutely loved it! Disclaimer: I am one of the trustees of the charity that operates the playcentres. So you can see I am very excited about it :)) Come and try yourself!!! And feel free to ask any questions.”
Wimbledon Park Playground
“Lovely playground with sandpit, slide, swings, climbing frame and water play for kids. Water play is open from 10th of June. Toilets near by and cafè.”
Little Wood
“Best place ever. But it’s so nice and quiet I can’t possibly encourage other people to go there... sorry... ;)”
artsdepot
“Regular visitor to the Artsdepot and a big fan given the variety and quality of acts appearing. Really enjoyed the Michael Palin review of his Iraq and N Korea adventures! A venue to recommend if you want intimate theatre in a central location.”
Gate Theatre
“Saw Medea last night at The Gate Theatre and was captivated. The production (70 minutes) is almost completely two young brothers locked in their bedroom trying to amuse themselves while their parents sort out "marriage stuff". The boys were amazing and had real presence on the stage. They fought and played to fill the time while waiting for their parents. Keir Edkins O'Brien (who played the older brother) was irritated and fond of his brother at the same time and his face was so expressive. When he told Jasper (Bobby Smallbridge) that he would always be there to look after him, because he was Jasper's big brother and that is what big brothers did, forever, you really wanted to hug him. A pair of really impressive child actors.”
Fun Junction Play And Party Centre
“We had my son’s 4th birthday party here. It’s not too big, but has enough to keep them busy for a couple of hours, plus a decent outside area when the weather is good. The party package included food (pizza, chicken nuggets, veg sticks and fries) and drinks were available for the kids throughout the 2 hours we had there. Overall it made the experience very relaxed and great not having to tidy up after if you have a party at home.”
Alexandra Recreation Ground Childrens Play Area
“Nice enclosed play area for kids of all ages. Gates could do with a latch at the top to stop escaping toddlers but otherwise great park in a lovely area!”
Peter Harrison Planetarium
“We booked tickets for "meet the neighbours" and loved it! The presenter was so friendly and has such a calming voice, and was nicely funny too. It really takes you back to childhood - I'd definitely recommend for any age!”
Cutty Sark
“Arrived by boat to see the ship. Built in Dumbarton, Scotland and the fastest ship ever made at the time of launching. A great experience and important historical treasure. Be sure to check-out the area nearby. Beside the ship is a wonderful market selling fresh foods from a variety of cultures and countries.”
Queen's House
“Really enjoyed my visit to the Queen’s house. It is free which makes it perfect for a visit while on a day out in Greenwich. You don’t need much time here but it is worth a visit, there is a very nice collection of art.”
Bonny Downs Community Association
“We love this place so much. Everyone is so helpful and there are so many things for the kids to play. You don’t have to pre-book and they always have a messy play at one corner for arts/crafts etc. They have tea/coffee for parents/carers too if that’s important to you. There is also a sizeable changing room within the facility and all the parents could interact with their local moms/dads. I highly recommend!”
Si5 Spy Missions
“My son had his birthday party at Spy Missions Chelmsford today and said it was the best party he had ever been to. All of the children had a wonderful time. Many thanks to the friendly staff for making it so special.”
Stanmore Children's Centre
“Lovely considerate place for tiny babies all the way up to 5 or 6.”
The Lincolnsfields Centre
“Had an amazing 3 days at this place . The people were brilliant and so friendly the kids had a fantastic time . Very clean and comfortable couldn’t ask for a more. beds are very comfy slept so well . Was a great experience for the children to see how it was to be evacuated in the war as a child . And the sort of food that was rationed . The museum was so interesting and the people telling us all about the types of things that happened . Kids loved it and us teachers did to . Would recommend this to any one that’s interested .”
Preschool & Daycare Nursery Greenwich | Zippys Day Nursery
“Almost a year that my little girl is attending this nursery on a full time basis and I am happy to see her progress!!! She loves the nursery and all the staff there!!! She goes in with pleasure- made little friends there ! I can say that the nursery grows with it's children! They are ready to listen to any request/ feedback or complaint! Really like their professional and friendly attitude regarding the children! All the staff knows all the children's names- they always have something nice to say to them! They encourage children to be independent to learn and develop into little people meanwhile respecting every child's own special way! I can only recommend the nursery! Really really happy with them and the most important: i TRUST my biggest treasure to the and they never let me down!”
