Clue HQ Brentwood
“Really enjoyed, snow made it more challenging to get to. Staff were friendly and made a fun experience.”
Room Lockdown Escape Rooms
“We were welcomed by James at the entrance who had explained everything to us. As i was super nervous he reassured us its nothing too scary! He was extremely professional and he played his character so well. As for the experience. It was something unforgettable. As i am a huge fan of stranger things it was almost surreal to experience what they do in the series! All in all the experience was amazing id do it again ina heartbeat and James just made it 10 more unforgettable.”
Everyman Borough Yards
“Small but great Everyman cinema very close to my residence. The staff is courteous and extremely attentive. Fun vibe, good food and great drink options. So happy I discovered this place!”
Bocketts Farm Park
“Bocketts farm is a lovely day out for family especially with younger kids. I've been many times over the years particularly because it is one of the farms where you can get closer to the animals to feed them, rather than using those feeding tubes, which I know are safer but are less fun. There are lots of added activities for kids to enjoy such as the crafts corner, soft play and jungle gym, a big tractor and toy car area, bouncy castle, trampolines, go carts, sand pit, park and a bubble disco. They also still do the pig race which is great fun for everyone. We ate in the restaurant in the main entrance. I really enjoyed their mars bar cake. My friends had the ham and cheese toasties which also looked nice and juicy.”
Happy Journeys Day Nursery
“This is a fantastic nursery that has great staff looking after the children (baby room perspective). The food is prepared by very good chefs who consider the children’s nutrition requirements consistently. The staff in the baby room are also very hardworking and happy to accommodate preferences on a child by child basis. The management of the nursery is friendly and willing to accommodate specific situations as required. The nursery uses Parenta and nurserycam for transparency and visibility of your child’s day to day routine with real time updates. Also, there are a few parking spaces at the nursery which is a bonus when it comes to drop offs and pick-ups. Highly recommended and it recently won the award for healthy early years by the Mayor of London”
Parson's Green Nursery
“I was lucky enough to have a place for my son at Parsons Green Nursery and it was the best thing that could happen to me! I had visited other nurseries but the minute I entered PGN I immediately knew it was the one for my son, it just had this very warm feeling that I was after, the staff was lovely, it was cute and modern, safe and it was super clean too. My son was 7 months old when he started at nursery, i was totally heart-broken to leave my little one but the staff was so lovely and caring and fun that i knew he would be extremely happy there..and he was! He had a smile on his face every single morning when i dropped him off which was for me a huge relieve. Not only he was happy but he also developed a lot. Every morning when we came in the room for drop off, there were new activities ready for the kids to play and learn from, my son was always very excited to see these new activities, from art & craft to building, drawing etc and other grown up activities for the older kids, not to mention some very cool sessions like cooking/ danse and football! He was almost 3 when he left the nursery and he was such a grown up, smart, well behaved and happy little boy, I was very impressed and very proud. The staff was fantastic, Mr Daniel, Miss Jodie, Miss Chelsea, Miss Camilla, Miss Celina (just to name a few) were all the most caring and nice people, always enthusiastic and smiling and always there to support both kids and parents, especially during the pandemic. To all of PGN THANK YOU - we really miss you!”
Little Linguists Nursery
“Great bilingual nursery that has really nice staff that take good care of the children. I would definitely recommend.”
E17 Childminder
“I have known Monira since she started trading, she has gone strength to strength. You have to see the smile on her children's faces to know how well cared for they are. She has exernal activities as well as in house activities which is every parents dream specially as we working parents can't take the kids to groups. Her level of transparency & honesty I really appreciate. You don't feel like you are leaving your child with a childminder more a family member. Most of the families choose stay with her rather then sending to nursery. Monira is a good communicator and always explains why she is doing what. Her waiting list is long & i'm not surprised as no one wants to leave her setting. Once you bond with Monira your child and you have a friend for life. Keep up the good work you deser e the credit you are getting. Monira has events where she invites all her families together so the adults can bond and network as allot of us are new to the area. She is more than a childminder she is FAMILY.”
Epping Reef & Reptiles
“I have just been to the Epping Reef and Reptiles store. I have been to many stores and never seen one so clean and where the animals look so well looked after! Louis from the store even took the time to talk me through the different reptiles and what’s needed for each of them. I honestly can’t recommend highly enough! Will definitely be frequenting that store”
Oak Cottage Kennels & Cattery
“We have just had a house move to Borehamwood, which was very stressful for Dylan our cocker spaniel. . To keep him safe while we moved onto our new house he stayed at Oak Cottage for a few days. Lauren was so caring, so he will definitely be visiting again when we go 9n holiday. Five star. A big thank you from Dylan.”
Cassiobury Park Pools
“Great outdoor pools with changing facilities and toilets. Situated in a great location with a cafe, playground and noddy train nearby plus woodland and riverside walks, plenty of fields for running around in and a spacious car park free for the first 2 hours. A great day out for the family.”
The Swarm
“Best experience in the park and most efficient operations team both days I was there. Went on it over 10 times before lunch with an Island Unlimited pass and every ride was insane, and insanely comfy. Really fills its roll as the newest coaster with the comfiest restrains in the park. I will live and die by back right or front left every time, with back right being the most intense as you get whipped about for some stellar Gs. Very highly recommended.”
Holland Park Adventure Playgrounds
“Outstanding adventure playground. The Holland Park is an excellent day out! Much enjoyed family day out. Surrounding gardens and woodland well managed in central London. Bucket swings, massive slide, climbing frames, fireman poles, rope ladders and a zip line!!! - all ages of children catered for. A Japanese garden a stones throw away is tranquil after slide swing action and walled garden is stunning in April/May. Peacocks roam and well feed squirrels are pretty daring! Lots of nature initiatives and ecological works and a large football pitch tennis courts and cricket nets near by for older children.”
Hullabaloo
“Amazing food. They do mainly vegan food but some vegetarian food. Good value and really delicious. Best naan bread ever! And lovely staff”
Ollie Polly Play Cafe
“Lovely play cafe for little ones, no big structures so it tends to be smaller kids and a nice small space so you can sit and have a cuppa or lunch or amazing cake and always have an eye on where little one is. Highly recommend x”
Thomas Wall Children's Centre
“Great place for children to play and interact with other children it gets them ready for nursery the staff are friendly too”
Red Stairs Soft Play
“We had a birthday party at the soft play and booked exclusive hire. Everything was ready and decorated before we arrived, all we had to do was turn up. The ladies organising on the day were superb, especially Nazmin who made sure the afternoon went to time. The food was cooked fresh and there was excellent communication between us and the venue. The play facilities are great, the kids had so much fun. Thanks Red Stairs Soft Play for a great day for our daughter.”
My Kid Atelier
“I had my son's birthday party in this venue. Stuff was very friendly and birthday decoration could be chosen from many type of theme. The price included all of food and drink of children and adult, game, decoration, everything so I felt it's affordable. My son and I was completely satisfied with the party.”
National Trust - Osterley Park and House
“What a lovely place! We live so close but never actually visited. The kids all loved it!! Lovely paths and tracks as well as some good off-road walks/paths through fields and small wooded areas! The terrain all round is reasonably flat so easy to get round with a pram or junior bicycles and even easier for larger bikes or scooters. There is a a nice coffee shop which serves a good range of drinks and snacks/bites and the prices are reasonable. There is also a lovely seated area with plenty of benches just outside. Handy toilets are also close by - just be aware of timings. One surprise was the pretty cool bike track which has some good turns and undulations which is suitable for all ages - even with stabilisers!! Car park has plenty of space and again fixed pricing is reasonable, whether you want to visit for a couple of hours or spend the entire day! Really enjoyable, relaxing and highly recommended. We will definitely be visiting again.”
North East Mitcham Community Association
“Great community centre, lots of groups and activities for all ages. The youth club on Friday evenings is especially good”
Guildhall Art Gallery
“This was the first Art gallery I went to in London and I loved every minute of it. It was on a quiet morning so I had time to pore over pieces and explore every nook I had access to. I think I ended up spending about two hours in all. I relish every minute of it. I even got to see the ruin of the Roman amphitheatre and Londonderry. The pieces have rich histories behind them, some are displayed together. The staff are also helpful when asked.”
Burgess Park Woodland Play Area
“Excellent playground. Combine this playground with the other playground in park along with a walk round the lake. A few hours if fun. And there are plenty of cheap eats nearby.”
The Mill (Community Centre)
“Dedicated volunteer run venue full of events for everyone. Welcoming efficient reception area. Community aware.Great displays of work and accomplishments. Toilet. Free honesty library. Play room.”
National Maritime Museum
“It is a very big and interesting museum, we didn’t have enough time to see the whole exhibition but enjoyed it very much. I bought a book on the collection from the gift store for a very reasonable price. The building it self and the parks surrounding are very beautiful. People of all ages would enjoy this museum.”
Sherlock: The Official Live Game
“Wow what a great experience, the staff were fantastic in both the game and behind the bar in the relaxation room. My wife bought this for my birthday back in Jan and booked it for her birthday (Nov). We just went as a couple but they paired us up with another couple which was great as I think 4 people was required to complete the rooms in enough time. (Although I'm sure there are couples who may have won on their own). The fact we completed the challenges with 1 min 30 secs remaining on our 60 min timeslot may have helped us enjoy the experience all the more.”
Gymboree Play & Music Sevenoaks
“Really good place 2 take kids there's no pressure to talk to mums of it not confident and good interaction with group sing songs”
Harlow Playhouse
“Most recently saw Ukrainian State Opera here. It's a nice venue, staff are friendly and helpful. Good view from any seat in my experience, but best suited to performances where you sit and listen. Don't expect to get up and boogie - it's not that sort of venue. They have a second, much smaller performance area too, which is nice and intimate. Easy parking nearby in the multi-storey.”
Ambika Paul Children’s Zoo
“Very nice zoo, not to much variety of animals but it's very beautiful”
Busy Bees at Cheam
“My son has been at this nursery for almost two years now and I don't have a bad word to say about them! There's a real family feel there, I love how the management team are always available and know details of the children's day. It's well equipped, the menu is great and the location is handy for travel into London but, the relationship between the staff and the kids is the most important thing and I love how my son runs to his key worker for a hug most mornings.”
Bright Futures Nursery
“We were very happy with feedback given to us about Albert. Joanne was very clear and and obviously very knowledgeable about Albert and where he is on his learning goals and personal development. We are also very happy with the learning environment within the nursery. Albert loves going to nursery on nursery days and always goes in and comes out with a huge smile on his face. The way the nursery has dealt with the extra stress of COVID 19 is also a credit to you and the whole team. The new procedures and adaptations the nursery have introduced are all very clear and easy to follow and enforced. Thank you for keeping Albert safe and helping his development. Sarah and myself couldn’t be happier.”
