Astor Museum Hostel
“Really friendly staff, clean and well-maintained dorms and washrooms. The hostel location is great to explore London. It’s very close to the British Museum”
The Victoria Inn
“This is my local and one of the best pubs in Peckham - really nice space, including a decent outdoors that's not just seats on the pavement and massive range of drinks. The food is made fresh and really nice, gigantic Sunday roasts if that's what you're after. Staff are super helpful and friendly and always go above and beyond, especially Hannah.”
Lee Valley Campsite, Sewardstone
“Excellent campsite with first rate facilities. Really friendly and welcoming receptionist greeted us on arrival and explained where everything was. Near to the Lea valley path which allows easy cycling into central London. Good transport links too but we haven't needed to use them. We used the river path to get to Stratford Olympic park, and Hampstead heath . The site offers shade too which was a real bonus during the heatwave. All facilities such as washrooms etc beautifully clean. Would highly recommend, and we will definitely be returning.”
Moxy Slough
“We stayed here for a visit to Legoland + Windsor. Staff were helpful and friendly. Vibe in the hotel was perfect. Rooms were extremely comfortable. Hotel full of great features. Food late in the evening was fantastic. Great sleep, great buffet breakfast choice started our day well. Will use Moxy where we can.”
Marlin Waterloo
“Fairly spacious rooms, very well equipped (rooms has kitchen, which is convenient given a Sainsbury nearby). Waiting areas at the lobby are installed with plenty of sockets, which is a great touch for guests having a long wait till check in. The only thing I wish could be improved was the breakfast. Menu was quite limited and mostly cold food, definitely not worth the extra 20 pounds add-on to the daily room rate.”
Fitzrovia Belle
“Lovely hotel. 2 minutes to the next Subway station. Yes, It’s kind of loud in the middle of the night, but show me one quiet city. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast was good! Missed just some marmalade. The room was big and has everything you Need. If I every be in London again, I will book the fitzrovia Belle again”
Belvedere House (Gloucester Road)
“Excellent Administrative staff and a pleasant stay. Regularly cleaned rooms and common area.”
The Nova Building
“Wonderful building the property developers and architect should be proud of this building”
ODEON Kingston
“We saw the new ant-men and it was awesome. The cinema was nearly empty so even better. Good service, clean and not too many kids in the theatre, absolutely amazing”
Acacia Villas Guest House
“Very cosy and comfy rooms, Felt at home. Sue is really kind and lovely.”
The Bridge Inn
“A good place to rest, if you are travelling on public transportation; both bus and train stops are very close. Rooms are charmingly old, there is a good atmosphere of old travelling culture, staying upstairs of a public house. Room, toilets and showers are well equipped, clean and functioning. Personnel is helpful and lager is near. Food is available as well at the Thai restaurant in same premises. And a special thank goes to Helen, who has the spirit of making her job with a heart, skill and commitment.”
The Europa
“Just a great pub with a great atmosphere and nice People working there. Service was bang on and staff were great. To the owner and all the staff…… cheers. Izzy, you are a gem in this place….. your customer awareness is next to none.”
LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort
“Great one night stay with 2 days in the park. The park had great rides and luckily for us the ques were not too bad. Our 8 year old really enjoyed. Our only complaint, was the air conditioning in our room. It would only blow cold air. We were unable to get it working to warm up. We stayed in the castle hotel, in a themed knights room, which was a great experience. We are all worn out today, from such a fun experience in the park. We ate our tea at the bricks restaurant, which was nice. Good service. We ate our breakfast at the tournament tavern, which was also tasty, with good quality food. Would recommend the experience for families.”
The Finsbury Guesthouse
“Absolutely lovely! A Brilliant family stay. Such a warm Host, who gifted us with a bundle of fresh snacks & a bottle of wine on arrival. A Clean & stylish room, with toiletries and an in room fridge. Great WiFi throughout. Huge tv. Good location 5 min walking distance from the nearest station. Huge windows, lots of light and air. There’s also a modern kitchen downstairs to use to cook meals and a communal outside terrace. Definitely would stay again!”
Redbridge Lodge
“Just stayed here for 4 days while on a course. Very pleasant and peaceful stay. Be nice if they did food as I'm sure they will eventually, but there are plenty places to eat nearby. Price for hotel was excellent and hotel far exceeded my expectations. Will happily stay again if in area again”
Your Move Estate Agents Watford
“My whole sales process was not an easy task, and there were many factors that made it drag. However, I found Your Move to be very helpful and attentive, not just Azra who was the agent I dealt with directly, but Scott as well, and others who picked up the work if the others weren't about. Your Move Watford work as a team, and go above and beyond, and are very communicative. Its not common to find an estate agent that is as attentive as they have been, without trying to push something, and others just switch off and was their hands of you. Your Move are different, they take sales seriously, not just from the offer being accepted, but right up until completion.”
St George Wharf
“Beautiful set of apartments along the river Thames. Great views and amenities. Good restaurants on the ground floor.”
OneSE8
“It's a private residential area in debtford. It's a modern type of area and these type of buildings and design are replacing a lot of the run down areas. It has onsite security and a barrier for vehicle access. I went there and go there to service & repair of the plant room and mainly the gas boilers. Site manager is nice and friendly.”
Paddington Green Serviced Aparments
“I stayed in Apartment 13 (one bedroom) for a few nights in August 2019. What a great apartment! It was clean, modern bathroom, basic kitchen facilities - everything you needed for a short stay! There was even a laundry available to use on the ground floor. The check in and out process was so easy. You get a message the day before with a door code and then your keys are waiting for you in a letter box inside the building, you just drop your keys back here when you leave. There are several deadlocks to the apartment door making the apartment very secure. Yes there is no lift and depending on which floor your apartment is on you may have to walk up a few flights of stairs - but it is the same for all apartments in this area. If you are wanting a lift you either need to choose another location or increase your budget and stay in one of the hotels in the area. I had no issues carrying my suitcase up the stairs. The location was fantastic for exploring London. It was walking distance to Regents Park, Paddington and Marble Arch. Edgeware Rd station was a five minute walk. Paddington Station a ten minute walk which was perfect for jumping on the Heathrow Express to get to the airport. Plenty of restaurants, bars and supermarkets within walking distance. I was more than happy with my stay here. I think the apartments are reasonably priced for the standard and location. I would not hesitate in recommending these apartments and would definitely stay here again on my next visit to London.”
Mad Hatters Afternoon Tea
“Walked in for afternoon tea today and had a great experience! The waiters were all very friendly and the food was excellent, especially the BLT sandwiches and the clotted cream. The Alice in Wonderland theme was very entertaining and you get to try all the teas as well as order more items. I have not tried other afternoon tea places in London but I recommend giving this place a try!”
