“What's not to love about Little Bay? Book for the back of the restaurant with the eccentric design and live opera on a Friday (it's better than it sounds, trust me! They literally sing the songs then explain the performance for those who aren't familiar so you understand). The food is great and such amazingly reasonable prices. Am addicted to the mussels and the chicken but they've never quite nailed my steak preference (but that could be more me than them). Highly recommend. Book NOW!”

Ian gave me a great insight into the pros and cons of oral v. nasal KC and was very patient with my dog … who was a trembling wreck as he has an aversion to vets surgeries.! Thanks to all at Elmfield vets, what I anticipated being a stressful visit went quite smoothly!”

“I have had two dogs, both in the care of Anne Nelson Vets. Three weeks ago, my beautiful girl died. She'd always been scared about going to the vets, because of one bad experience with a man in scrubs when she was very young. She did not like it there at all (not even this one!). But one vet here, Claire, was the exception. It confused my girl so much, because she didn't like anything vet-related- it was like her gut was telling her not to like Claire, but she liked her anyway, and she couldn't figure out what was going on. My pup got really sick, and Claire was so, so, so good to her and to us humans. Claire spoke to us both kindly and honestly, there were no mixed messages or 'false hope'. I'm incredibly grateful for that. I needed the science of what was going on with my dog's body, and she gave it to me and answered all my questions fully which helped me a lot. My dogs were, and still are, my whole heart- and Claire and all the staff knew that for sure, and they all cared about them a lot too. I cannot recommend this practice enough, and I'll never be able to fully express how grateful I am, because it's so much that it's just simply impossible. Again, thank you. A thousand thank yous.”

“Dined at Taste of Bengal for the first time ever this evening and I have nothing but good things to say. The food was amazing, so flavoursome! Papadoms were offered whilst we decided on our mains and came out warm which was nice. I had a Badshahi Chicken and the Mr had a Chicken Tikka Masala, both had generous amounts of chicken. Sides included the best saag aloo I've had in ages, onion bhaji and garlic naan. Server (didn't catch his name sorry) closed with "we hope to see you again regularly, you'll always be very welcome" such a warm an friendly service. 100% recommend and will definitely be visiting again/ getting take away. Even when using the laptop from seated the stand is invaluable. My neck ache has been cured since my screen is now at eye level.
