"DISAPPOINTING SERVICE We arrived on Friday afternoon at 1pm. The restaurant was completely empty and so we asked if the 2 of us could sit at a table for 4 to get some additional space for the dishes. The woman abruptly told us No, she said as it’s the weekend, we will have to take the table for 2. Usually a restaurant host will check the bookings and see if they can accommodate the customer’s request. The woman didn’t do this, she seemed more interested in looking back at her mobile as she remained sitting down. She wasn’t friendly in any way. I took 2 photos and explained that I would be writing a review of my experience on GOOGLE, I added, that I thought it wasn’t kind of her to refuse our request when the restaurant was clearly empty of customers. it is only then that she said we could sit at the table for 4. We decided to have lunch elsewhere as we didn’t feel welcome and so had lunch at a lovely restaurant on the same street."

"I spent a nice day here catching up with friends. I ordered the jollof rice with beef which was nice, portion size is good. The fried yam was enjoyed by my friends. My friend ordered her's jollof with three meets, what she received was a bony piece of beef. A piece of tripe and a jelly bone of unrecognisable origin. I would have expected 3 meats to be chicken. Beef and lamb or pork. Not everybody likes tripe that should be specified as they are not good at substituting things. I wanted the tilapia but I wanted it with jollof which I was told no. My daughter order white rice on its own and it cost £8.99! the same price as the jollof this is ridiculous! White rice is a basic and should be at the most £5. The soft drinks are expensive. The Fanta was £4.99 I know things are going up but come on that was ridiculous. All the soft drinks are expensive, I won't even go to the J20 which is closer to £10 at £6, far to expensive than I would like. The customer service was good and I like the call bell on the table. Also I would suggest children portions should be offered with prices to match."

"It was my first visit. Ok and very kind staff. I ordered white rice with plantain and assorted meat. As I am not keen on very chilli or spicy food, I appreciate the fact that they had a mild option which was really good and I truly enjoyed the food. I also like the call bell, which allows you to take your time to go through the menu and call them when ready. The food didn't take long to come. Service was good. A bit of a let down on the selection of drinks, especially those that don't drink alcohol. They also do takeaway, so that's good. Decor is very minimal. Needs improvement There is no parking and had to circle.around for sometime to get parking and also it's infront of a busy road, so constantly busy, cars with loud speakers can be heard through. It was just annoying. Though being on the main road it's easily accessible for everyone. Overall good place."
