I wanted something that was not in their shop but staff offered to order from website for me. I paid and then receive text when it arrived so could collect. it saved me going into town to larger Boots as it's other side of town. Long walk if no car. Thankyou mini Boots.”

Prem (one of the staff) was very kind and offered to have a look as I was worried about how deep it was. She cleaned my wound, rebandaged and gave advice on how to treat the cut. One day later and it's healing much faster than I thought it would. I never thought of asking advice for this kind of thing at the pharmacy but will certainly not hesitate again if I need to in the future!”

I asked the friendly staff for help and advice which they gladly gave. The chap on the till was the most helpful and informed me the tropical fish food simply has more protein in it than the goldfish holiday food would have done (which was out of stock at that branch) so it was safe for me to give my pet the tropical food. I'm pleased to say I returned from my holiday to find my beloved goldfish happy in their tank, having been fed perfectly well.”

I then got a phone call the next day! (today) stating that there has been a few cancellations and would I like an appointment only next week for the next phase of assessment, very efficient. Nice to share positives about our great NHS and staff.”

The surgery itself was far better, much less after care needed, anaesthetist was way better and they were home sooner. I've also been in on a couple of visits and it works like a well-oiled machine, hardly any waiting around. Such a shame NHS hospitals cant function as well as these places. It serves illustrate just how much reform the entire NHS needs if we want to repair it, money is not the magic bullet, the problems lie far deeper and are definitely not a simple.”

“For 3 years I've been dealing with a mild, chronic case of pericoronitis. After switching dentists I was referred to Guy's Hospital. The referral process took 3 months. Once I got my first visit, I got a CBCT scan and a second appointment all within 3 weeks. They discussed a lot of different options for me, which ones would be best, and why. Decided to get all 4 wisdom teeth removed under general anesthetic, and waited an additional 3 months for the surgery appointment. So in total, around 6 months from referral date to surgery. My appointment for surgery was at 15:00, but didn't reach the theatre until 18:15. The surgery itself went super smooth. I felt great after, and recovered at home on a liquid diet for a week, rinses, and alternating between ibuprofen and paracetamol. For reference, my teeth weren't that complicated and I have a high tolerance for pain The staff was absolutely wonderful. They gave my partner all the information needed for the recovery period, all the pain medication, and would have been available in case any side effects emerged. They also warmed me up with a tube under my blanket as soon as I woke up from the anesthesia, which felt great. I can't fault my experience at this hospital in any way. Waiting 3 hours past my appointment time was tough without food or water, and it's something I wasn't told or prepared for, but I know how busy and overworked hospitals are here, plus I was given IV fluids so I felt fantastic after the procedure. And sure, I waited 6 months from referral day, but I am very thankful I could get this done for free under our health care system. Were my case more serious, I think my waiting time would have been less. But either way, I'm super satisfied with my experience at the Dental department of Guy's hospital!”

“I was seen by the consultant Mr. Agrawal on Wednesday because of unbearable pain due to Kidney Stone as shown by the CT Scan. I was operated on the next day. I am so glad I chose that option as the stone was breached and would prolong my agony. I am now pain free and back to normal. The care was excellent and very professional from outpatients to discharge! The staff was so warm and so caring. Extra care was given to me as a patient with round the clock checks until my discharge the following day. The food was excellent too. Highly recommended!”
